We're off with our pub friends for a week at end of February, third year as a group and I've been foing since I was 18! What I like about rhe different centres is that its like going to different holidays all in one and there's somthing for everyone. Glad I found your channel. Good honest no nonsense reviews without an oying music etc. You've done my two fave places GC and Kos and although I'm from Worcester in England, my Mum was from Paisley 🍻
Stayed couple times this year in a lovely place, Maspalomas suits and spa. Very quiet area and 10 mins walk from Meloneras beach front by the lighthouse it’s so nice down there.
We've been there many times and still don't know where Ingles ends and Maspalomas starts and where Maspolamas ends and Meloneras starts. Thanks for the video!
Look out for the Anamar Suites on the right hand side of the beach road, decent apartments IMO Hoping the Yumbo & Cita have perked up since my last visit. Mogan nicest place I visited but I’m yet to see Puerto Rico or Melonaras which I know hon recommend
I guess it's true that things are more spread out in Playa del Ingles. But personally I don't find that a problem. Try the Canteras beach area in Las Palmas.
Hi Kevin. Always love watching your videos. But it's not pronounced Ingels, It's pronounced Inglez, which means English. So Playa del Ingles is the English Beach.
G canaria l has lovely weather ,yes you started at nearly the furthest area away from the beach ,I agree it's expensive to get a nice place to stay for a holiday if you don't like the highrise apartments 😅 some good restaurants in yumbo my wife loves Gran canaria I like Lanzarote thanks for the video
A bit spread out isn’t a problem, it’s a product of a large resort, there are numerous taxi,s and public buses available, you got to Atlantic 2 at quarter to six and said there was no vibe, I find that hard to believe, you made it sound like tipsy hammock was the only bar there, there is literally a dozen or more, and we find the place fun all day well into very late night, the German quarter is never quiet and if you walk past tipsy you would find it, also keep going and you’ll come to claro que si , another great bar with rock music - especially when Kuba is playing his guitar. There’s also the Cita centre not far from yumbo, which has some great restaurants. Resorts are very subjective and to keep saying ‘the problem with pdi ‘is crazy. It’s only a problem if you are unable to be mobile. It’s a characteristic of the area.
Concrete, more concrete and faceless hotels. Playa Del Ingles is a dive. Same applies to the area around Maspolomas. Must say Tipsy Hammock is the only decent bar there.
I stay at the bohemia spa it’s right on the beach front love it

Playa is in Maspalomas really...
We were there last week Kevin and it was full of Germans ,Dutch Danish hardly and Scots 👍🏴
Hi mate was wondering if you upload these videos when your home ? Or was this today ?
This was 2 days ago , in Puerto Rico today
Keep up the good work mate

We stay in the Anamar, good value although I agree PDI is expensive for what it offers, unless of course you are there for its speciality night life.
I guess it's true that things are more spread out in Playa del Ingles. But personally I don't find that a problem.
Try the Canteras beach area in Las Palmas.
I like that it's more spread out. You can actually do a little exploring.

So Playa del Ingles is the English Beach.
😂
You are correct and thanks for pointing this out! 👍🏻
Wait till you hear him pronounce Corralejo
@@mark8111xxThat and Los Pocillos always gives me a chuckle😂😂
Did you meet many Norwegians in Playa? In Puerto Rico it seemed like they were 80% of the tourists there lol
Maspalomas is the entire borough as such and pdi and melonares are in Maspalomas

Meloneras does look nice and Puerto Mogan is lovely but the rest of it especially PDI is awful😂😂
@@GillianLloyd77 no it actually isn’t.
I would say Maspalomas is where the dunes start. The dunes are not for the faint hearted, best not go with your granny! 🤣
Lol

Definitely doesn't look as nice as lanzorte Kevin ❤❤
Defo not
Glad you've done a vlog there, it's saved me a wasted trip.. Looks awful.
It’s what you make it, this is such a negative review, we go twice a year and have a great holiday every time
Puerto Rico is much less windy... but also boring compared to Playa
