JEJAK AWLIYA' MOROCCO S3E37 : Abdul Salam Ibn Masyisy

Abdul Salam Ibn Masyisy was born in Bani Arus in 1198 AD. He is a direct descendant of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through Moulay Idris I. He is well known as the patron saint of Morocco since guiding three of Quthb: Sidi Ahmad al Badawi, Sidi Ibrahim ad Dusuqi & the founder of Shadhili path, Sidi Abu al Hassan ash Shadhili. He also the composer of Salat al Mashishiyya.
Martyred in 1225 AD by the hands of the follower of Abu Tawajin, whom claimed himself as a Prophet, due to his struggle fighting the false claim of Abu Tawajin. He later buried in Jabal Alam, near the vicinity of Bani Arus.
