Webinar: Improving Equity and Data in SNAP E&T: Early Findings from MN's DATA Grant Project

On May 18, 2023, FNS’ SNAP Office of Employment and Training (OET) hosted a webinar to share information about the FY2023 SNAP E&T Data and Technical Assistance (DATA) Grant opportunity. During the webinar FNS was joined by the Minnesota Department of Human Services and Mathematica Policy Research to hear about their recent work focused on making data-driven SNAP E&T program improvements. Participants learned how SNAP E&T programs can identify opportunities to improve program equity and quality and how to develop systems to make data-driven program improvements.
The FY2023 SNAP E&T DATA Grants support the development of State SNAP E&T data collection and reporting systems across two available tracks: 1) Advancing Equity within SNAP E&T Programs; and 2) Improving SNAP E&T Data Validity and Reliability. Applications for the FY2023 SNAP E&T DATA Grant are due on June 27, 2023.
