I'm super happy you did this type of cards with this kit! Quick & easy card ideas are something that are frequently needed, and these are perfect! Great job!
I love all these quick but fancy cards! I always think of Sandra Lee's "semi-homemade" when I make cards like this! I can't wait to get my kit and get a good start on my Christmas cards!
I am so happy to see that you used these chipboard images. I always feel bad when I use them because it is not entirely hand made. You do beautiful coloring and your designs are outstanding. And if someone with your caliber of card making can use them I will start to use the ones I have with no guilt attached..
Hi Nichol. This is such a sweet card kit and I love the new stamps and dies, and all those gorgeous stickers. Thanks for making these tutorials where you create multiple cards to inspire us. Don't know how you girls think of these so quickly, but then you have great products to work with so I guess that helps. Thanks again.
You Dear Lady are so talented! I'm so inspired and cant wait for my kit to come! Love your cards. Love your energy. Your designs are fun and anyone would love recieving a card from you!
These are cute cards. The actual kit came with regular stickers instead. I still want to try these cards, though. I think I would have liked the chipboard ones just to try.
I always struggle with the chipboard images. I actually didn’t plan on buying this kit because of them. But you make them look so cute even though they are so simple.
I use a quality mic. I have actually heard the opposite, although not recently, that some videos are too loud. You might try checking the settings on your device as I turned my volume all the way up and it was extremely loud.
I received my kit a couple of days ago and I must say I'm very disappointed with the "chipboard" stickers. The 2 sheets I received are nowhere near the thickness of the stickers in this video. It's a stretch to call them chipboard. They are very thin, very flexible/bendable stickers--closer to maybe an 80# cardstock. Bait and switch?
The kit actually comes with stickers and not chipboard. Designers received prototypes and I did not know until after I posted the video that the kit actually contains 2 sheets of stickers and not the single sheet of chipboard used in this video. The kit description on Simon Says Stamp clearly states that stickers come in the kit and not chipboard. I apologize for my mistake in the video.
@@NicholSpohrLLC Nichol, thanks for your response and explanation. I just felt a little misled--"chipboard" and "sticker" aren't mutually exclusive--and there was really nothing in the kit description to let me know that I wasn't getting the better quality chipboard. Those were my second favorite thing about the kit (after the stamp set, of course!), and the end result of any project I create using the stickers is not going to look as nice as I'd envisioned.
I was a bit disappointed too, since all the videos we saw from designers showed the chipboard stickers. However, once I realized the designs were the same... you can just pop up the regular stickers on some funfoam or foam tape for dimension. They also mail better, so there's that!

So cute, Nichol! I'm curious if you weighed these cards to see if they'd require extra postage? I probably wouldn't care!
