I do that and take pictures of myself, but I have a Canon 6DLL camera with me. I swear that all my pictures are from the mobile phone and the camera is outfocus.😂😂😂
3ish min of intro/outro/ads/sponsor of a 6 min vid to hear how to sync your phone to a camera, which depends on your phone/camera type. I feel like this vid was mostly for her sponsor and not a "how to" lol
I’ve always found the best way to take self portraits is with a wireless remote. Dirt cheap to buy with a great range as to distance from the camera. I take the photo when I’m ready, not when the camera timer dictates. Face recognition plus continuous focus and just about every shot is a keeper.

I think you're wrong about the autofocus. You can see in the menu it says `AE` - which controls the sensitivity of the exposure not focus.
It's actually a nice tip!
One of the best self portraits I have is on Gljufrabui waterfal (Iceland)... but I had an a7 ii back then.... slightly out of focus. Soooo anoying!! 😂
Nowadays I use the interval shooting method as well. Good tip on the flexible spot / zone for focus!
Can you explain how you set your focus for the timer or interval shooting?
I use the same app for when I am doing some of my videos
There’s the Simpsons reference but that’s more snarky because it’s a town that makes the Humboldt figurines, that flanders flees too after finding out how many people in Springfield find him judgy and annoying, but finds out that he’s too risqué for the town (his hippy lip moustache) and comes back to Springfield (and saves Homer from the bully who moved into his old house)

The Sony a7 III can’t autofocus in interval mode. It will autofocus when you press the shutter (so when you’re not in frame) and then keep this focus 🥲
All cameras don’t focus in interval mode. So this video is total shit
that mobile app is by far the worst product sony ever made. other method is much better ;)
What I'm wondering is, most of you video makers who are into the photo topic hardly get any clicks anymore, but continue to stick with the strategy for years. can't you do anything else or don't you want to?
I must admit I don't watch this style of video much anymore, it's just too much same same from the creators nowadays.
