Orrrr, Hope on a window board, pause, then press Y/Triangle as a zombie pulls off the barrier then bam aha your out of the map. Ahh the old days of glitches.

I don't think Five was bad, especially with that kickass opening.
I loved Five better than Kino because of the location and setting also because it looked like something like that could have happened in real life but was swept under a rug to not cause panic.

No way Five was forgotten, one of the most memorable with the doctor, the portals and lets not forget the easter egg song with the phones. Their was endless glitches and was just overall challenging and really fun!

Five has to be one of my favorite zombies maps. So much fun, good challenge too.
It's a fun map with a unique cast of characters. Yeah, it's difficult, but sometimes I just really want to play it.
A good map but I can only get up to round 8 on it, also JFK’s voice lines are funny

It would have been great if the guns presented to you didn't burn through ammo too fast for you to even get points on a daily basis, buys a gun, but by the end of the round, I'm like "I need to buy these doors to live, BUT WAIT, MY GUN IS EMPTY AGAIN." Either way, I always die, my farthest round ever being eleven.

I love Five! The reason I do is because it's extremely memorable to me. It was one of the maps I loved playing on with my brothers. Being a noob as I was back then Five was quite difficult. I vividly remember yelling at the mad scientist whenever I seen him.
Me and my buddies got our highest round score on five. Camp the defcon room 2 on windows, 2 in the door way
The only reasons why people hate "five" is : "ItS a HaRd MaP, No TgUn, WeR iS uLtImIiS"
And they suck and can’t kill the pentagon thief

One thing I always wished they had included was an easter egg where you could unlock that hidden wall of weapons from the intro and be able to buy them like you would a wall weapon.
So like a wonder box without much risk of the monkey
This is the map you hate as a kid cuz of how challenging it is then later on the years you come back to it cuz of that exact reason
5 was amazing challenge i definitely enjoyed surviving on that game
its not forgotten, it literally is remastered for black ops 4 as classified.

Classified being a remaster of five is like saying blood of the dead is a remaster. It’s not, I would’ve took the five remake and the mob of the dead remake but they had to do shit for their petty lore.
I love that you had Won't Back Down in the background. I distinctly remember listening to that song a lot while playing Black Ops multiplayer when I was like 13. That was good times
I like five, it's like a hard mode.
It also feels realistic as you can't always expect yourself on the best place the middle of a zombie apocalypse.
Actually this was my favorite map because it was very difficult as kid for me.
Five is the map you play when you have the bois over for a sleepover at 1am and you just vibe on this map
I like Five because it kept me moving from A to B to C and all over again. If there are 3-4 players, that's even better because it makes it possible to camp. It's also the only map in which I've been to its specific, real-life location, the Pentagon.

Kino was what we played when we wanted to get high-round runs and git gud. Five was the meme map that we played when we wanted to do Nixon and Kennedy impressions all night. Kino was the favorite, but tbh Five is the one i remember more fondly
My Dad's friend plays Five,. But he never updated it so he can play with all the bugs, which made it so you can be above the zombies
i actually like the idea of not training. camping in the elevator might've been the most fun i've had. i find it more fun to just hold a corner with a trap type thing
Its funny how we all knew about the table and outofmap glitches.. but people still jump on the barricade without knowing what is was for
you can still find 3 people & play five 11 years later on the ps3…. amazing
five was the first zombies map I played it still has a place in my heart
Five was good for the following reasons:
- The Bugs and glitches it used to have
- The hilarious 'joke map' style of the whole thing
- The dialogue was funny
- One of the best boss enemies
- The claustrophobic map design
- The elevators
Its like a ying yang of maps, Kino was the "easier" more accessible map, while 5 was the "harder" less accessible map that you had to sorta, 'prove yourself' or whatever by beating the story mode.
Just got back into black ops zombies just found this channel and I agreed with every damn thing you said
The character quotes were some of the best ever

I saw a comment once that said the person used Winter's Howl to slow down the zombies and then shoot with an regular gun. I got a little above round 30 solo with that strategy

I loved Five it was very unique compared to all of the other maps and has a lot of weird quirks to it that I really appreciated
Why is a thing like the defcon activations to unlock pack a punch seen as bad or not revolutionary while kino is praised for being so horrifyingly bare

Honestly I played this map the most, and thats because of the Eminem Easter egg 😂. Made gameplay with the boys that much more intense, I loved it! Chasing the scientist was fun, and the characters and mannerisms were cool. Plus it made me a better zombies player overall. I love Five!
The winters howl made the five thief significantly slower, i think that was its main use my friends and I would always save it for that round
I really don’t understand the hate for the Winter’s Howl, I’ve never had any problems with it, and it’s honestly one of my favorite wonder weapons
I was always jealous when my friends had the map DLCs in MW2 and then the same thing with BO1 zombie maps, didn't play MW3 or BO2 nearly as much and gave up on the series after that, wish I still had my old friends who I used to play with

I played my first cod zombies match with my brother after he finished the campaign I never knew anything that time about the campaign. After playing five with him I decided to play the campaign myself. When I made it to the mission after vorkuta It was the exact area as five. And I thought there was Going to be zombies in the story. Lol I was so stupid that time

5 was forgotten because it was hard as hell. Like, Kino was awesome because of its kiting potential, and how easy it is to control hordes. 5 just isn’t designed well. It’s a fun map, but I’d much rather play Kino, or Nacht, or Shangra-la.
How is Five forgotten? It’s literally one of the most iconic and memorable Cod Zombies maps of all time! If you ask me, this video should be called: Why was Five so memorable?

When I saw that only like 1000 people were playing BO1 zombies, I was so shocked and kind of depressed. I’ll never forget BO1! I just really hope they remaster it already to revive it! If they did, so many memories would be brought back to us true Cod fans!
On high rounds everyone is in the starting room because of the traps

For five i actually prefer the winters howl than than the raygun, heres y. the winters howl is like a get out of jail card, if you see a hourde of zombies and know your low and cant wait to reload, switch to winters howl and shoot the hourde and then reload , but the raygun is less usefull because the fact that you can damage yourself with it, its a close quarter's map with zombies who love to get up close and personal so shooting a zombie in front of you with RG is not a good idea

This used to be my favourite map.
Five was an ok map it was creepy on the lower levels and when you turn on the power the whole map becomes pretty creepy. I like zombie maps that give you a feeling of no way I'm not going to that area alone nope I'm gonna stay put. Five doesnt really show that except on the lower levels.
You forgot to mention the fact that kino is widely considered the best zombies map ever. The only other 2 maps anyone ever really talks about from BO1 are call of the dead (for the George Romero boss) and ascension (also widely considered to be one of the best maps). I mean no one really speaks about shangri la, five, or moon, in a positive light. These maps are ok, but nothing compared to kino and ascension.

this map is one of my favorite's from CoD Zombiesm in a idea form. Just the idea of playing as either former Presidents and Castro was great, sad the map it's self not great

Just set your windows up top correctly and traps will work fine. Equip packed crossbow and you're good
I’d leave a crawler at the end of every round, hit all the defcons besides one, then start the new round. Kill a few zombies then hit the defcon and then we kill all the zombies from the war room. 2 in the back 2 in the front.
