SITAR-SARODE JUGALBANDI - RAAGA AHIR BHAIRAV - KALYANJIT DAS II KAUSHIK MUKHERJEE

Here comes a short presentation of Raaga Ahir Bhairav, one of the most prominent early morning raagas. Tabla Accompanied by Chiranjit Mukherjee. After a brief Aochar, they have played a composition in Jhaptaal.
Kalyanjit Das (son & disciple of Pt Kushal Das) & Kaushik Mukherjee (senior disciple of Pt Tejendra Narayan Majumder) represents the "Maihar Gharana" school of Indian Classical Music.
Their duet presentation has been highly appreciated by not only the general audience but also by the senior musicians and respected connoisseurs of ICM.
