      in next video I would recommend talking about Thomas Carlyle the fist Neo reactionary, Curtis Yarvin just expanded on his work. the book list is chartism then next hero and hero's worship and then Latter-Day Pamphlets. in hero and hero's worship he came up with the concept of great man history and Latter-Day Pamphlets is his Neo reactionary manifesto.

    The problem is we vilify whole groups of people. If we stopped doing that and realized that certain people are the real reasons why we’re fighting, I think the world would be a better place. What if we just got rid of parties altogether? Each candidate runs on their own merit as a representative of the country.

      So long as the two party dictatorship doesn't just get replaced by a one party dictatorship, then I wouldn't be opposed to people simply running on their own, independent of party platforms. I don't have enough knowledge to propose how exactly it would work, but I certainly like the idea of it.

    I understand the main point of the video. Everything has felt so policed and controlled lately but that's on both ends of the side entirely. Each side is so extreme and hateful that it projects an exaggerated view of the world that wants to play with all of our emotions. Nuance is dead and nearly every action an individual takes can be twisted to the worst possible assumption. I believe the sort of freedom that everyone is trying to reach being able to do and say what they want is self-obtainable. We as a culture have just let stuff over the internet cloud our judgment and that has led to many of us being unable to consider other ideas and thoughts. In the end, we divide ourselves and we have a larger level of control over our lives than we think.

    Reminds me what happened with Bernie to Trump voters

  • @haven_lady675
    @haven_lady675 Місяць тому +11

    So free speech and honesty is only good if you aren't "woke" and not "politically correct". What is "politically correct " or "politically incorrect" mean anyways? Is it to do something good politically or bad politically? If you are politically correct, that means something is done correctly in a political sense. But politically incorrect means you are not doing what everyone else is doing right?
    You could say the left can be politically incorrect if the right is politically correct and vice versa. Or should I say what's normal in a society.
    It feels like you are trying to introduce a new status quo in place of the old one. Need I remind you most of those on the right are Christians.
    Also how can you get along with someone who doesn't want to treat you with respect? Like come on, why would I make peace with Neo Nazis in Nashville? I'd rather stay away from them. I don't trust them because they are dangerous and will hurt me. They preach the ideology of a dead Austrian dictator, for god sake.
    But fine let's call the left hypocrites for preaching peace and love. "Can't we all just get along?" Easier said than done, Tantris. Neo nazis are no better than thugs and gangsters. So this apathetic centrist view towards politics feels wrong.
    Maybe instead of saying why woke is bad, maybe just look into why it became so prevalent. After all, you want to ask questions.
    Here's my question: Are you sure this is the best way to make the world a better place or are you politically dependant on influences like Joe Rogan and corporates like Elon Musk?
    I dont know what is the best course of action for our nation cause people are stupid. Wonder why misinformation happen? If you are sure you are right about something, then prove it and find a way to convince people instead of getting upset that your views are labeled as misinformation.
    Not everyone is right and we must accept that. Hell I dont know what's right anymore cause I'm not sure if everything i say is correct. I'm just "being honest" and it's "my opinion" so everything i say here is 100% pointless.
    Left, center, or right, everyone is stupid yet everyone is sure they are the good guy, the right guy, and the smart guy and they are in denial.

    • @HEAVIERBINGUS
      @HEAVIERBINGUS 17 днів тому

      Your take makes it seem like you only get your political views from the internet, people on the right are everything, not just primarily Christians, and you obviously have some bias against them and it almost seems like you're trying to make a anti Christian and anti right argument.
      The left is destructive to the nation and to itself, but you fail to see why people are on the other side because you won't give it a chance, and this is coming from someone who used to be far left...
      But if you really take the time to look at it, it's such a toxic and evil place, that convinced me that I was wrong for being straight, white, born a man, not okay with messing up children's hormones and then I realized that I needed to see what the other side had to offer.
      I found acceptance, I found agreeable people, I found freedom, I found a life where it's not constantly worrying about things that don't matter to us. I became happier, while I still see so many people on the left saying they're depressed and never trying to fix it. I think the real issue is that so many leftists lock themselves into that spot and don't want to leave.. That's what I think you did dude, and I think it'll hurt you, I think it already has

    I hope the best for you and your channel.

    I really liked your welcome to the nhk video, but you seem sort of trapped in the 2010s here… most people who would agree with what you have to say about the progressive left have already moved on and realized that the same is true for the right wingers as well. Like these right wing comedian guys will joke about trans people all the time but they never joke about trump or other right wing politicians or pundits, and they also never say anything outside of their shows that shows that they respect lgbt people on a fundamental level. That’s the difference between these guys and people like filthy frank, who was genuinely just making edgy jokes and you could tell he was not actually bigoted. But that guy who made the Puerto Rico joke? It just seemed hateful, there wasn’t much of a joke to it at all, he just said Puerto Rico was an island of garbage. Maybe he thought it sounded better in his head or something, but I really don’t care. I’m tired of these “free speech” comedians who never go after their own side and say stuff that riles up a populist, conservative, and (as much as you wouldn’t like to admit) at least partially bigoted crowd. I don’t care what people joke about. But look at these peoples twitter timelines, it doesn’t seem like they’re just joking. I don’t get how you can frame the right as being the sort of ‘sensible’ side of common sense, relative to the left… they’re all in their own echo chamber and they are just as puritan and will excise anyone from their community just for not supporting trump.
    I think you need to separate the brain rot online politics stuff from actual electoral politics. For example, Biden’s administration capped Medicare part D prescription costs at 2,000$ a year, so that retired old people don’t have to spend more than 165$ every month on medicine alone. If that sounds like a good policy to you and you want more stuff like that, then you should vote democrat

    I think you're spot on for the reason as to why many people in the center started leaning right...but like, Trump is literally signing illegal executive orders and disrespecting the constitution, I don't think this was the best course for the US. Clearly the Republican part, or at least the MAGA base was more serious about their extreme views than were anticipated.

    Pretty well spoken. I have certain contentions with Trump but his victory is a win for the right as a whole due to the fact that major political candidates represents the entirety of their side of the aisle whether intentionally or not. I definitely feel as though people are more willing to give credence to right wing ideas since then. I also related to feeling politically homeless, although I consider myself on the right I don't feel that I fully relate to neither conservatism nor libertarianism despite my overlap between both, nor am I religious.
