It worked both of them
To make it work.
Press on vehicle adjustment
then adjust lights
Then put your xp number in the cheat engine
Then change it
Then get back to your game and exit the adjust lights
And you will see the magic
That how it’s worked for me 🙂

Just go on steam, go to euro trucks simulator 2 workshop and look for money and xp mod. Click the green subscribe button, go into ets2 singleplayer go into mod manager out the money and xp from left to right and confirm. Click continue, do at least 3 jobs before you see money pouring in (if you still don't see increased money buy any random truck and do jobs with your own truck).
