Yeah, that helicopter was seriously getting on my nerves at the River. But what surprised me on this trip was the length of time between our arrival time at a paticular spot and the train's. But then, there's no telling how chasing a seldom publicized steam excursion is going. Just got back home; great to see this video online to welcome me back.
you know I was hoping that this was a doubleheader lol when i saw both locomotives on the title, but still good!!! I'm kind of hoping to see some doubleheaders with the 630 and 4501 once its up and running!!!
@WSOR10C Well, 154 is Much smaller, 630 Is Much larger, The fact that 154 had to work harder, even with the train being that small (Dispite the diesel Power) Was the reason. Thank you!
Wonderful show. 154 is a fantastic engine to see operating. 630 is great.
Great video.

Awesome video! Love the 630 n 154!
When 154 is crossing the bridge, at about a minute into the video, her whistle sounds a lot like #12 from Tweetsie RR. Great video, by the way!
That’s because she has a 5 inch Crosby, which is the same type of whistle as Tweetsie 12’s Baldwin subcontract-built whistle.
I would love to totally skip school to chase that!!
You're the biggest Foamer I know, but you make some pretty good videos Jeff.
@WSOR10C That was Casey Thomason in that copter. He is the NS Company Photographer.

i love 154's whistle
@WSOR10C To be honest, Im not Sure. But I am Certain He Was chasing The Train.
Was the helicopter chasing the train for a reason?
The helicopter was necesary for taking a very important photo. Get over it.
Great video!
Oh please, they could have used a drone to take a photo and those make a helluva lot less noise that that freakin' helicopter.
Rebel9668 there were no drones 7 years ago lol
Any reason why 630 was going faster than 154? Great video!
Because 630 has larger driving wheels; 630’s are 56 inches tall, while 154’s are 50 inches tall.
@WSOR10C This is why railfans-not terrorists-should be allowed to carry surface to air missiles.
@CarNutandTrainNut2 No, Sadly Ill be in School
@DelayInBlock Heh, And Your The Biggest Foamer I know.... And You seem pretty good at Making a bunch of UA-cam Channels That Have No Purpose...
STUPID HELICOPTER!
