This was originally the ebike I was going to get. At the time (a year ago) they didn't have this model - T5 with dual suspension. Also, I wanted a color display, USB charge, mag wheels and hydraulic brakes which the std Gforce did have (brakes, that is). No mention in your video about that. I ended up buying a Polarna M4 (their std model) which had all the prior mentioned goodies I wanted at an incredible price - below the Gforce at the time ($1199USD). A black Friday kinda deal. I believe tho, that these bikes are made by same company - GDS out of China, of course. Which is also the same as Engwe and several other brands. I even think this same company GDS makes the Lectric ebikes too bc they all have the same basic frame layout. I love my M4 btw. It's not as powerful as this T5 model (1000 watts peak) but it is powerful fast and can go over an amazing variety of terrain, I had some early issues (electronic) but they fixed - replaced part (display, which I learned is the actual brains, not the controller, and it runs like a champ!

The full suspension AULOOR for Black Friday price of $699 is an awesome bike as well. Came almost fully assembled!

@@johnw65 You know what? I'd bet my next paycheck it's the same maker as Polarna. frame, everything looks the same. they make several brands - Engwe being the most recognizable but several others and this one looks like their basic layout and components, has old style BW display, 7 speed instead of 8, lower level Shimino w/gear indicator on top instead of under the handle bar. No mention of brakes tho. Did it come with hydraulic? Pictrures look like it. If so the $699 is a smoking price, I would say. It is a class 3 ebike too qwith a name brand battery - LG. Mine did not come with a name brand battery. I've had no problems; charges good, holds charge well after 15 months. I don't ride alot but I do have 600 miles on the bike. It rides just as well as it did new.

Yeah,@@SonriseSunset 699 was unbelievable. I got ours last July for 799 and am still happy with it. Mechanical brakes stop it just fine. The front Hyd line on my T42 tore loose when riding it like a dirt bike thru tall grass and weeds...

@@johnw65 that's interesting. Never thought about that scenario. Those hydraulic lines are not screwed ends, just a pressed fit? Mine on the Polarna M4 are machine screwed ends. I think the brake line would have to be cut or break to fail.

@@SonriseSunset Yeah, the hydraulic lines are a weak point. Mechanical brakes are way tougher... A stick caught mine when riding through tall grass and bushes. Crracked it and the fluid leaked out... Rear brake line is more protected. But the front one is easy to snag

Can you add foldable back foot rests?

Does the rear suspension work? I couldn't see any flexion in the video... Whi is the T42 replacement T5 $200 more than the T5?

Is it secure to drive under rain??🤔

I have the T-42 and Literaly just got delivered the T-5, I have rode the T42 in VERY light rain(Just a little heavier than a drizzle.I a steady rain I would recommend because the brakes &rotors get wet. Stopping becomes not so safe. I have wrapped a little more than a 3x5 size of Kling Wrap over the throttle & on the display screen to keep them getting wet.

Thanks a lot, I'm planning to buy it and use as my daily job commuter but rainy season it's about to start and I wouldn't like the bike to get broke by exposing it to the rain. Thanks a lot, I really appreciate!!
