Jamie we just were in Portland like a month ago it was so fun!! Public transport there is really great and really easy to use there is an app that will work for the train, the street car, and the buses or you can buy day passes at each stop OR I just used my credit card for every day after the first night! The buses and streetcars have this thing where you can tap your card/app once for a single ticket ($2) and when you tap it again on your next ride it’ll charge you 50 cents to go up to a day pass. You’ll tap it again every subsequent ride as your fare but its just that amount for the day! We took a train straight from the airport and then walked to our hotel from there but you should double check the train bc we did see signs that train service would be affected by some construction at a soon-ish later date that I do not recall… anyway I hope you have a lovely time! I love your vlogs they make me feel both calm and with a strong desire to kick my butt into gear and start making stuff :) I hope this is coherent at all we’ve been moving all day,,
