Nematodes are over priced. They do work well, but they are just too highly priced for most growing situations. Its a shame farmers are priced out of many biological solutions, but then our mantra is reduce the risk by not attempting to grow plants that more naturally exist outside of conditions achievable locally. This simple and honest change, alongside adopting a more diverse planting system with less overall disturbance, really reduces our need to counter pests in all but the very worst.of outbreaks. I read that for every pest insect, there are upto 1700 beneficial insects, or insects about which we don't know enough about. Good to see people trying to increase the ROI but they need to be price reduced and used with great care so as not to generate more severe issues as with Bee population collapse after neonic seed coatings and sprays gained popular use. What are the sum total connections biologically for vine weevils? Whose lunch outside of nematodes are we taking?
