Dear Ashwin a beautiful rendering very inspiring, For me there is only a big mystery you can solve, if you play the middle Pa I see that you are not closing all the fingers and still play a perfect Pa???? don't have a clue how that is possible.

The 414 is a better mic though. The first 2 Raagas were recorded with the iPad playoff through a Bluetooth speaker directly into my mic. This time I just prerecorded the Tanpura and routed just the Tabla from the iPad into my sound card and used in ear monitors from there. The separation is what gave me more freedom to get a clean Mix and makes this recording sound even better.

I can only hope to become as amazing a flautist as you. I noticed you have an extra hole for Pa below your left hand thumb. Who is the manufacturer for this flute?
