That's so true about employers and coworkers!!! I drove my Porsche to work for a few weeks while my run around vehicle was in the shop, I deliberately parked on the bottom level of our parking garage for weeks so I wouldn't be seen by any one especially in leadership! Once, I was noticed, my VP called me out at a group outing and announced to my team what I drive as if a young black woman can't be successful enough to have more than one vehicle and have the nerve to have a Porsche!!! From that day on, I never drove my other cars to work again!! They be mad at us, secretly watching and hating. Oh and I was fired from that job about a year or so later!!! That was Fannie Mae!!!!

I didn’t get fired but my former mgr acted really funny towards me when she found out I had a horse. And when I moved into my new home, she continually asked what did my husband do for a living. Yes people on the job can be haters.

If memory serves, this is not the first hanging of a young Black man in Atlanta. Some years ago, a young Black man was found hanging in a tree in Piedmont Park after allegedly being seen with a white man. I don't know if the case has ever been solved or if the case is still being investigated. Very sad 😢! I agree with Al -- where is the outrage!

It’s one thing to ignore someone for a couple of hours, it’s another thing to ignore your *pregnant* wife, block her number, block her on social media and leave her in Vegas. Anything could’ve happened to her as a pregnant woman and she would’ve had no way to contact him. If something did happen we’d be singing a different tune. He was wrong. Period. (Also, when your husband went gambling did he block you so you had no way to contact him or did he just go gambling? Big difference)
