I think it should've been 3 movies and 2 series to be honest. If you compare films between phase 4-6 and phase 1-3 there's a massive difference and it shows. We've barely had any set up for secret wars because the films are where most of the set up is supposed to take place and yet we've barely had any compared to phase 1-3 where there was nearly 30 films with a lot of them setting up Infinity war and Endgame. I love the shows but they aren't progressing the overarching story and they're taking up slots that couldve been used for films that move the story onwards. For example we had 3 iron Man films, 3 cap films, 3 thor films and etc in phases 1-3. We've had 1 shang chi film, 1 doc Strange, 1 cpt Marvel, 1 black panther, 1 eternals etc in phase 4-6. There's not enough character progression and story progression because they've been focusing so much on shows and ended up over saturating the superhero genre and the films have been hit the hardest by this by not having enough focus on them and a lot of them being put on hold in order to "slow things down"

Crazy thing. This is all still the second or thrid part of phase 4. Not even the ending yet. I can tell. They want to move past the multiverse stuff and forcus on grounded.

@GodspeedSuperbeast other shows don't have the massive budget thar it takes to make a Disney+ series. He'll the marketing budget is probably as big as alot of network shows entire budget. So getting 22 episodes on a D+ show is unrealistic. That's another reason why some of the series have flopped. They needed a longer episode count in order to flesh out the stories. Imo anyway.

I have questions about a few things going on right now. If they have Wanda as Dooms lover, it takes the focus away from Wanda wanting nothing more than her kids. And she is devastated about Vision still. So why all of a sudden is she in love with Doom? Only way is to be a variant. That means it's not OUR Wanda.
Also. If they only do 2 movies 3 series a year, how does that affect the overall Phase or Saga? Will they still all be aiming at a shared conclusion? Or is it all going to be stand alones?
@cyfloriana Or it could be similar to what happened with Children’s Crusade, her possibly losing her memories after Wundagore and being found by Doom. Which leads to Wanda eventually being found by Billy and Tommy.

Still not feeling Cap. I appreciate the political feel it’s trying to give but still so far, nah. I’m actually more hyped for Thunderbolts, myself tbh. That superhero landing in the trailer for a non serumed Cap was kinda cringe for me. I dunno something still feels off with the CG and Mackie as Cap. I think if he had a serum I could suspend my belief more with his antics. I get that’s the point for him and the whole CATWS show but look what Isaiah Bradley did. He had more more stoked just in that little scene. Even Panther had the heart shaped herb as his ‘serum’ with his Vibranium suit. As of now, Im more stoked for the supporting characters like Red Hulk and Leader than I am for Mackie as Cap. Plus all the early screening rumors saying it’s still terrible… we shall see. Going in with low expectations to be hopefully pleasantly surprised.

I think rushing to the end of the multiverse saga is a big mistake. They should rush to Doomsday and then take their time wrapping up all the post credits scene plot threads in phase 4 and 5. Either give us a 2-part Secret Wars or give us some more Battleworld movies in between. Thor 5 with Hercules. Eternals 2 with Black Knight. Blade and the Midnight Suns, the bloodstone and werewolf by night , Wanda and her family. Monica lost in the X-Men universe with Beast. Tom Hardy in the MCU. We need at least 2-3 more Battleworld movies than we’re getting. At the very least they should do strange 3 then Doomsday, spiderman 4, Thor 5 could possibly be “combined” with Eternals 2 since they’re both cosmic. A Scarlet Witch and family movie, armor wars on Battleworld. Give us Blade and friends. Young Avengers on Battleworld. Why rush through Secret Wars and Battleworld? The multiverse saga is finally getting interesting and might actually be good and they’re gonna rush to the finish line now? 2 years too late Marvel. 👏 👏 👏

Bucky had more reason to take up the mantle and Sam Wilson was NEVER given enough character moments to be considered even a little interesting to the general public. It all has to do with Sam Wilson being a boring and uninteresting character to begin with, not his skin color

@ Marvel could have made Bucky into Cap, just like the comics. But honestly in film, elevating a person considered a terrorist would bring story challenges they do not want. Sam has been cap in the comics for over 6 years ow. Plenty of stories to pull from. I would personally prefer Steve Rogers, but the films move at a more realistic pace as far as character longevity works in that world. But what I said, is a factual thing that needs to be considered. It is no different than the attack on any female characters that Marvel chose to focus on. A Bunch of dumbasses could not handle it. so lets not just act like;Ike its not a possibility.
@ Yeah I had an issue with the scene with the supersonic landing. Not only would he have been turned to paste by the landing, but the shock wave we’d have dropped him along with everyone else.
