The moment that it was said in the HW Hildibrand quests, that he was rumoured to have powers over life and death, made me think that he might be a distant relative of Galdera.
I've been a Hyur basically since I started playing, I tried to be Au ra for like a few days and every single time I hated it and went back to midlander. I love my boy and it's basically impossible to make me swap off, I literally bought a fanta at the start of Endwalker cause I wanted the new beard and I haven't removed it since then.
My male Hyur is the the most sweetest grimlin child and I love him. He all bright smiles and hugs, then crazy shenanigans if he gets too hyper. Also he’s smol, still taller than most male miqote but him baby boi.
As my main is a Midllander Hyur and my alt is a Thighlander, I love my Hyurs. With my Midlander I was able to pull off the look I was going for as she's based off a half-elf from my D&D days, and my Thighlander's emotes and expressions are so cute!!

Honestly I'm so jealous of some of those midlander animations. I would love for my miqote to have them, since she's like a doll in character and those more princess like animations would suit her very well
If you are storyloving player, after Shadowbringers and Endwalker Expansion hyur are no longer boring at all, because some of the most important and beloved characters in the Main Story are hyur/hyuralike. Don't wanna spoiler to those who are not at that point in Story yet, but all others should know what i mean *-* i made an alt char midlander, only to repeat that "special part" of Endwalker as human so it would feel much deeper to me❤❤
I started as a fem midlander 5 years ago, I am still that same midlander. With a minor novella backstory, and not enough glamour plates, mannequins and Hard drive space for all my fashion and gpose pictures. Also I chose midlander because it was the middle ground of dynamic and elegant emotes. Not as bubbly and free as a miqote or highlander, but not as reserved as a Viera or elezen. Sorta right in the middle of the 2. I've done raen and Viera for a month each, but I always come back to the original!
Your evideos actually did help me fanta. I was a basic Viera but I just yesterday after binge changed to a Male Row with a bad ass mullet and now my FC is obsessed with me.
I'm not really a fan of the fantasy genre in general, so when I create a character in those types of games I generally just make an as human as possible character. I made a hyur midlander because it most resembled my hume character in FFXI. So basically I've been playing the same hume/hyur character since 2003 without using my free fantasias that the game gives. I've only had to change my character once because of the character creation changes from 1.0 to 2.0. _However_ , I am putting that Aesthetician's grandkids through college with how often I change my hair.
Yay thighlander justice, I just wanted to be a brash badass self insert with over the top animations so yep, perfect for me. I love that ppl seethe, hate on us, and then covet our curves and hempen underboob. Maybe someday ppl won't be so mean about me wanting to play a jack of all trades with gorgeous facial options and funny animations
As a female highlander who made my me within the game, I feel and agree with this video 100%. From their wonderful animations and how a lot of armor and glamour work for them. Though I am an odd duckling not caring for the camise but I totally get the appeal. Thank you so much for all of these fantastic videos! Each have been wonderful shows as to why any and all Eorzea's races are excellent choices. Can't wait for the Hrothgar!
I love that sidesaddle riding animation on female Midlanders! So weirdly ladylike, it sort of crosses over into seeming kinda badass. I leveled Conjurer from 1-30 in just a few hours, and got that unicorn mount (sidequest Unicorn Power, from Braya at the Conjurer's Guild) just for that reason.
Riding side-saddle on a beast only legends could tame while approaching a monolithic, world-ending threat with a smile on your dainty lips and the power of 80+ levels worth of combat experience in your pocket or on your back is a pretty big flex ngl.
im not notice Hyur tend to look less same as other Hyur, especially if the player put their effort. while other race like Miqote, Aura or even Viera often to look same
I will never understand people dismissing the "basic" human character. My favourite character in WoW was my Human Mage... and my favourite character in this game is my Hyur Midlander. I do like other races from both games, but I always come back to these two characters
Absolutely adore this video as a highlander fan! I found the outfit at 5:14 very beautiful and was looking through the comments to see if anyone knew the gloves used for the glam. Would love to know what they are seeing that glam is just gorgeous!
This are the "idealized ebers armlets"(whitemage only)colored in dalamud red. You can obtain them via "memoria misera extreme"trial in shadowbringers if an "idealized Hand gear coffer" drops or if you do the fight 2 Times you can buy it for totems in mor dhona on the npc next to auriana:)
I have three Midlander Hyur in game. The only male is a recreation of Epel Felmier from Twisted Wonderland, but as a Thaumaturge. For fanfic purposes. The females are both Gladiator's, one of whom is a recreation of my KHUX character, also made for fanfic purposes. The other female is a Gladiator who will eventually become a Paladin/Dark Knight main. Her backstory is that she's the daughter of a successful fisherman from Limsa Lominsa, whose family took in a traumatized Au Ra orphan that became her little sister. Her sister struggled with selective mutism, and when she turned sixteen decided to travel to Ul'dah to become a Thaumaturge and join the Adventurers Guild in hopes of progressing in her healing. Naturally my Hyur, being a responsible big sister, decided to join her and become a Gladiator to help keep her safe. Plus act as her interpreter for anyone that doesn't know Eorzean Sign Language. One day, I might make a Highlander.
Hyurs are considered to have a higher critical hit rate in Final Fantasy XIV due to their stat distribution, which favors the determination attribute. This higher determination stat boosts their overall damage output and increases their chances of landing critical hits, making them a popular choice for players who focus on dealing as much damage as possible in combat. While every race in the game has its strengths and weaknesses, Hyurs' Critical stat boosts provides them with an added advantage, allowing them to hit their opponents harder and more frequently than other races.
I don't think it's the case, since starting stats around 1 and 3 while endgame stats are breaking thousands, so it's really just a race favorite choice
As a highlander player - female highlander have, by far, the best emotes in the game. They are so expressive and extremely well animated. I cannot recommend them enough - and every glam looks great on them!
Been a Hyur FemMidlaner since I started playing in 2016, never really had thought of changing my race ever. I still have my free fantasia in my retainer's inventory.
Yeah. I just remember, back in the days when I was RPing on my catgirl years back. Guy comes up to her, they start talking, etc. etc. My character says something about Cartenau...(SP? I'm sleepy) And this guy... playing a lvl y60 class (Believe that was max at the time.) And he had *NO* clue what the Calamity was... AT ALL. So, my story-loving bard of a cat had to explain the entire thing to him. And at the end, she told him that her mother, the only family she'd ever had, died on that battlefield when it happened. She's almost in tears at this point. His response? "Oh, cool." I swear, if a friend hadn't been nearby to stop her, she would have eviscerated him.
I’ve been thinking of fantasia’ing into a Female Roegadyn from my Miqo’te for months but I wanted to finish Endwalker as my OC. Your Ro video was the final push I needed to go FemRo And I love her.
Can confirm, I am basically a discounted Meteor as Midlander with the stubbles. Also, I look up to my Highlander brothers of course. Shadowbringers is what made me go Hyur and I never wish to change again.
My main is a midlander and always has been lol. She looks like a 1930s pulp/comic book vigilante along the lines of The Shadow :D I don't usually play humans in fantasy games, so I dunno what made me do it in 14, but I love her.
Highlander Female main here! I started with her, and then went through a Fanta addiction, but my mind was always sitting on the Hyur I made. So I made her again, and about 14 other alts because I'm attached to pixels way too quickly. 😅
Hyurs have better hairs, emotes, and princess run on middy is too cute! Elezen= giraffe/long necks Viera too tall and not enough hair/hats Miqote- there are so many it’s easier to not play one to stand out. Lala BABY
I started playing in HW as a catgirl, but in STB I switched to a female Midlander and through all of Stormblood I was a cute girl, but then SHB announced Vieras, and I switched as soon as they became available in Shadowbringers.
Cant blame you in that, my main is a viera too and my alt who is becoming my new main since I use it to play with my friend is an au'ra. The only con vieras got are the lack of head pieces. I am hoping for more hairstyles to them though
highlanders are the best, there actually is a reason they don't have eyebrows! they shave them off to appear more intimidating and file their teeth and give themselves facial scars for the same reason, i feel like we don't get a lot of little lore tidbits like that for other races be actually visible which makes them really cool to me. the wooden charm on their hempen gear is also tied to their clan which is pretty neat too. i was middie for a little bit recently and totally fell in love. i know it gets a lot of flack but i really love the fem midlander run animation, it's just so...cute!
I just like the idea of seeing myself as the main character and further immersing myself. I also enjoy writing my own lore and background. Just a different kind of fun lol
The main reason I play Hyur is their posture. I absolutely cannot stand characters with bad posture and bad animations, so that eliminated pretty much every other race for me 👀 I actually started out in Heavensward as an Au Ra but couldn't stand their run and walk, then tried out Elezen, but hated their lack of a decent idle pose. That's when I found my way to Midlander, been on it since Stormblood and have since only fantasia'd once to get that sweet stubble Also, no clipping supremacy
As a hyur starter, you were right that I'd end up using that fantasia i got from arr. Still to a hyur, but there were some facial features i wanted to rweak, along with the muscle slider.
You are my favorite UA-camr omg. I watch as many as I can depending on how far I get in the story. Started watching you when I was in ARR now I’m up to endwalker. You’ve motivated me to keep playing many times :)
I've always said it: If you think human characters are inherently boring, that just means you don't know how to make interesting characters. Your fantasy race doesn't make you interesting. It never did.
Preach brother- I've always seen some of the other races as boring for this reason! A lot of their players go for the same glamour choices or played out aesthetics and then call us boring for picking Hyur. Not saying a unique Miqo or a boring Middie doesn't exist of course
Eh, personally for me if a game gives me an option not to be a human I'll take it, I don't think human characters are inherently boring, it's just that I'm a human all the time irl. I also enjoy making characters that aren't me in general, so there that , lol.
As a male Highlander since day 1, most of the reson was cuz it best suited how the cahracter is meant look between this game and other games where CAC's are available. The no-brows and older look meant I kinda cycled around face numbers before settling back on the one I started with. I never liked prettyboy/bishonen type characters, and Highlanders being the general opposite of that trope as the human race meant it was a no-brainer. I do fantasia to Roegadyn and Hroth sometimes for a change of pace but generally yeah, Highlander masterrace. Hyur privilege is having a second clan that isn't just a glorified color swap
I chose a Sea Wolf. Not just because I liked the tall, brawny beefcake look with the roguish, but friendly expression, but because after viewing all the other races on offer I _knew_ it’d be one of the most unique looks I could have in the game. And the sheer fact that Roe aren’t even mentioned once in this video is proof positive of that. We’re almost more rare than Elezen, and that’s the fun of it.
Anne was at first a M!Miqo, this was back when I was on trial so my desired Bunboy option wasn't available and... oh god I hated it so much, it just didn't work, didn't sit right with me, when I got the free Fantasia I did not think twice. I wanted to make a female character, but none of the other races really vibed with me, Miqo are much more cute than pretty, don't get me started on Au'Ra, Roe faces didn't sit right with me and Elezen just kinda existed, so I went with Highlander, who was the more, for lack of a better term, "mommy" of the two options (Note: Anne turned out to be anything but that in personality) Even then, I didn't really like the character that much, until I learned about the aesthetician and went for a third shot at it. I ditched the butterfly tattoo, went for inner eye makeup instead, I used the face-markings which fit even better than the tattoo had, I gave her lips some more color and ditched the loose hair, taking the Highlander ponytail instead In that moment, everything just... clicked, and though I've felt tempted at times to make her into a Viera, it never felt right to change her into anything else (Instead I made my Shadowbringer spoilers into not only my Viera boy and girl, but any other race they feel like that day) I am proud to say I am immune to Fantasia, because despite an occasional haircut and hair color change, I love my Highlander and I wouldn't have her any other way Now if only i could look half as good-
Me and my friends would go to art parties and every time I’ve gone someone has always complimented me on my highlander, my profile pic is of the first one I ever went to. I love it to death, it just looks so cool
Male highlanders have a lore reason for no eyebrows ^^ they do it to look more intimidating. If you want a vanilla option for them the eyebrow facepaint does a pretty good job on darker hair colours
catgirls are kinda basic for me after being one and seeing them everywhere, au ra are nice but a bit too saturated and some of the hair i like have horns that are mismatched with thier race, rabbits and rothgar can't wear 99% of the hats including cash shop items, elfs look like they have a stick up the butt running and roegadyns are something i consider but waiting for graphic update, midlanders are for me after getting over the school girl run animation because the highlander defult female looks pissed 100% of the time in her defult stance.
I started as a midlander but since my first main job was PLD, and roes are too bulky, I have settled with the male highlander and never looked back. Now that I am a SCH main, the 560 gear looks perfect on him. I just hope we have more options for beards.
Reason why i choose Highlander,It's because i really wanted to play as an ACTUAL Rugged and Mature Protagonist for once in a JRPG. Not a Typical youthful looking dude in his 20s or under,Something which is super common. I started off as a Max height Highlander without a beard and black long hair Then i choose to add beards and battle scars one expansion at a time and also dyed my hair from grey to white to give emphasize the fact that where my WOL actually grows alongside with the MSQ...Cheesy i know. Now my WOL is fully rugged, got all battle scars, the Wind Caller Hairstyle haircut from Bozja which is essentially a direct upgrade to my old default haircut and i couldn't be more happier and proud with the race i've chosen. That's how much i love my WOL. Only dreadful fact i'll have to live with forever unfortunately is that the fact that My Face is permanently associated with Hildibrand and I had to give myself Fake Eye brows to make myself standout amongst other Highlanders.
@@bellamango6708 Honestly getting that hairstyle by simply doing the entirety of Bozja content felt like a far more rewarding experience than simply buying it off through Market board...
"You want to play a human in a fantasy game?!" *thinks back to the various famous fantasy books and movies/tv shows where the primary cast of heroes were humans* "Why yes, yes I do, that a problem for you?"
I play the most default face 5 middie using hair 8 and I still somehow feel more unique than all these animal people, amazing, it's all in the glam and themes I suppose.
Been a midlands male since I started playing FF14. Tried a male Viera but came back since my glamors were designed as a Hyur, especially the most important piece of all my glamors, my character's glasses. Plus one had a scar perfectly placed for the odd eyes for him.
YES, you made me go Au ra again after I had sworn off tails :P but then I went back to femroe and all was right with the world lol. Seriously though I have really enjoyed this series, ty for making it! I cannot wait for femHrothgar to come out. Yeah I swore off tails but can I resist being a big momma cat woman? No, no I can not.
I was an au ra for a few years but i began doing in game cosplay and switched to hyur since it fit the cosplays much better. People rarely care what race you are unless they are down bad for you anyways.
I love my fem highlander :3 she's the shortest and has no muscles. I started as midlander but I felt too waifish. I have pretty generous curves and I felt slighted by Minfillia being able to be better blessed than I am. I have a viera alt I made to see if I wanted to fantasia but I couldn’t do it... their expressions are so soulless in comparison to my highlander being extra.
I haaaate the assumptions that if you play a hyur it's a self-insert, you're a beginner to RP, and/or you have issues with fantasy races. Could not be further than the truth with me; it was what was right for the character I made and I will not be changing her or her backstory. My middie is gorgeous and I'm proud of my design. Even has the rarely used Face 4 and manages to rock it!
As a fem Highlaner... I mean, Thighlander... yes. The reason to play Highlander is muscles and emotes. I am not ashamed to admit that my character is a self insert and I love her, and I will never change her... well except for a week or two here and there when they add new races, but I always go back... (although I almost decided to be fulltime femRoe).TBH, I'm also waiting for fem Hrothgar, but I don't think even that could keep me away from my Thighlander for long... also, I started this game as a moon Miqo'te, and now my main his a fem Highlander, just goes to show that not everyone Fantasias out of being a Hyur.
Hyur since Nov 2022. This is the longest I've not used a fantasia.... my gear and glam looks perfect on my green eyed Hyur! ^.^ My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner and listened to people that call it boring.
As a Hyur player, I've been waiting for this video so that mummy Catte can yell at me for being boring and unfun. Inb4 she calls us all boring and unfun.
I'm a hyur player... midlander, since day 1. fantasied into different races at some points, but always, always, back to hyuran. We are the disappearing race in Eorzea. In any city, in any data center, Hyur population are getting fewer and fewer... we are almost at the point of being an endangered species. Basic? Not anymore. She's my Iced blended latte. My favorite.
I'm a Highlander myself, and I made it for the reason you stated. I'm a human, in a game of fantasy where everyone else is a cat or dragon. And I was thinking of that last night I'm like man my highlander feels so much more alive in his emotes
I don't fantasia (except to make slight tweaks occasionally), I make endless alts. lol I have been considering a Highlander alt and now I want to make one even more. 😆
i think the players who say "Hyur is basic, this is a fantasy game play a fantasy race" forget that all mainline FF games the hero is usually a human male or female.
I started as an Au'Ra and went through ARR and the first half of heavensward as one. Loved it, but became a bit tired of it, since it seemed so clunky and the cutscenes and some actions made my character look kinda stupid haha. I did think he looked badass tho. But after getting hyped about the Shadowbringers trailer and seeing the WOL just being a regular human, facing up against a god, i got a change of heart and wanted to become a Hyur as well. There's just something about being human and fighting all these gods and monsters with noting but ur own strength.
My character is a Highlander who I gave the full beard option. This makes him look constantly grumpy, and the personality I ended up giving him is that his existence is pain. And I love him dearly.

If you are storyloving player, after Shadowbringers and Endwalker Expansion hyur are no longer boring at all, because some of the most important and beloved characters in the Main Story are hyur/hyuralike. Don't wanna spoiler to those who are not at that point in Story yet, but all others should know what i mean *-* i made an alt char midlander, only to repeat that "special part" of Endwalker as human so it would feel much deeper to me❤❤
yoshi just slam some loves for Hyur PLayer xD
Avy: “i am the chosen one for once”
Me: i felt that
I started as a fem midlander 5 years ago, I am still that same midlander.
Welcome brother. You are one of a very select few among us who have dared to be truly different.
Your timing for jokes is amazing. I knew exactly what the first joke was going to be and I cracked when you delivered
My number 1 reason to play Hyur: My character name is Beatrix and I am going for a FFIX Beatrix style glamour as my main appearance.
I've done this glam on my hyur before! So good, I love it. I believe in your dream.
@@OneBiasedOpinion Yeah, you know what I'm talking about!
I'm a Highlander, and I did use my free Fantasia....to slightly change the skin color and significantly change the eye color.
im not notice Hyur tend to look less same as other Hyur, especially if the player put their effort.
while other race like Miqote, Aura or even Viera often to look same
I will never understand people dismissing the "basic" human character.
One day, I might make a Highlander.
im a hyur , in armor
resemble me HIGHLY
i validate this video
thank you Avycatte ♥
Hyur mount stance like a princess is my favorite
Whoo! Now we're talking! I started as a Hyur and I've never gone back! We're not basic, we're brave enough to be boring!
@@helionus8539 Whoosh
As a highlander player - female highlander have, by far, the best emotes in the game. They are so expressive and extremely well animated. I cannot recommend them enough - and every glam looks great on them!
Been a Hyur FemMidlaner since I started playing in 2016, never really had thought of changing my race ever. I still have my free fantasia in my retainer's inventory.
Yeah. I just remember, back in the days when I was RPing on my catgirl years back. Guy comes up to her, they start talking, etc. etc. My character says something about Cartenau...(SP? I'm sleepy)
And this guy... playing a lvl y60 class (Believe that was max at the time.) And he had *NO* clue what the Calamity was... AT ALL. So, my story-loving bard of a cat had to explain the entire thing to him. And at the end, she told him that her mother, the only family she'd ever had, died on that battlefield when it happened. She's almost in tears at this point.
His response?
"Oh, cool."
I swear, if a friend hadn't been nearby to stop her, she would have eviscerated him.
"You're a human in real life, why would you play a human in a fantasy world?"
the catgirl behind the screen: ...
OMG I'm learning and laughing and learning and laughing and it just doesn't STOP. I LOVE IT! Your videos are the BEST! XD
Hyurs have better hairs, emotes, and princess run on middy is too cute! Elezen= giraffe/long necks
Viera too tall and not enough hair/hats
Miqote- there are so many it’s easier to not play one to stand out.
That's when I found my way to Midlander, been on it since Stormblood and have since only fantasia'd once to get that sweet stubble
Also, no clipping supremacy
As a hyur starter, you were right that I'd end up using that fantasia i got from arr.
Still to a hyur, but there were some facial features i wanted to rweak, along with the muscle slider.
That "I WAs Reincarnated as a Dumbass" bit made me spit out my drink lmfao
You are my favorite UA-camr omg. I watch as many as I can depending on how far I get in the story. Started watching you when I was in ARR now I’m up to endwalker. You’ve motivated me to keep playing many times :)
My Highlander is a self insert and I love how spunky her emotes are, I’ve been 4 other races before realising I was most comfy as a Hyur
"A slider for your muscles which you can slide." HA!
*slaps table* THANK YOU !
I wanted to make a female character, but none of the other races really vibed with me, Miqo are much more cute than pretty, don't get me started on Au'Ra, Roe faces didn't sit right with me and Elezen just kinda existed, so I went with Highlander, who was the more, for lack of a better term, "mommy" of the two options (Note: Anne turned out to be anything but that in personality)
Even then, I didn't really like the character that much, until I learned about the aesthetician and went for a third shot at it.
I ditched the butterfly tattoo, went for inner eye makeup instead, I used the face-markings which fit even better than the tattoo had, I gave her lips some more color and ditched the loose hair, taking the Highlander ponytail instead
In that moment, everything just... clicked, and though I've felt tempted at times to make her into a Viera, it never felt right to change her into anything else (Instead I made my Shadowbringer spoilers into not only my Viera boy and girl, but any other race they feel like that day)
I am proud to say I am immune to Fantasia, because despite an occasional haircut and hair color change, I love my Highlander and I wouldn't have her any other way
Now if only i could look half as good-
I chose hyur intentionally to be basic and unremarkable. But being a black midlander with green eyes, that backfired spectacularly.
The "have you met this man" moment just gave me the hardest laugh of the week
Thank you
Me and my friends would go to art parties and every time I’ve gone someone has always complimented me on my highlander, my profile pic is of the first one I ever went to.
I started off as a Max height Highlander without a beard and black long hair
Then i choose to add beards and battle scars one expansion at a time and also dyed my hair from grey to white to give emphasize the fact that where my WOL actually grows alongside with the MSQ...Cheesy i know.
Now my WOL is fully rugged, got all battle scars, the Wind Caller Hairstyle haircut from Bozja which is essentially a direct upgrade to my old default haircut and i couldn't be more happier and proud with the race i've chosen. That's how much i love my WOL.
Only dreadful fact i'll have to live with forever unfortunately is that the fact that My Face is permanently associated with Hildibrand and I had to give myself Fake Eye brows to make myself standout amongst other Highlanders.
oh god yeah i loveee the Lyon hair
@@bellamango6708 Honestly getting that hairstyle by simply doing the entirety of Bozja content felt like a far more rewarding experience than simply buying it off through Market board...
@@jaysanj152 chefs kiss you do have good taste LOL
"You want to play a human in a fantasy game?!" *thinks back to the various famous fantasy books and movies/tv shows where the primary cast of heroes were humans* "Why yes, yes I do, that a problem for you?"
honestly it's really funny people say this because 90% of the cast in the non-MMO Final Fantasy games are humans.
@@toadstein Very true. Though I gotta give my boy Khimari love from FF 10. He was my personal favorite character in that game.
@@happyninja42 oh yeah Khimari is great. It's not like non-humans don't exist in the other games cuz they do. They're just a lot less prevelant.
I play the most default face 5 middie using hair 8 and I still somehow feel more unique than all these animal people, amazing, it's all in the glam and themes I suppose.
There's 16FF games and some spin-offs, all have Humans as MC's 😂 14 as well .
Been a midlands male since I started playing FF14. Tried a male Viera but came back since my glamors were designed as a Hyur, especially the most important piece of all my glamors, my character's glasses.
Plus one had a scar perfectly placed for the odd eyes for him.
Proud Highlander male player, wouldn't change my grump to anything else.
Looking forward to the Hrothgar video. Still saving a fantasia to be Cheetara from Thundercats.
thanks for your lovely videos
I was an au ra for a few years but i began doing in game cosplay and switched to hyur since it fit the cosplays much better. People rarely care what race you are unless they are down bad for you anyways.
Highlanders. Enough said. It aaaaaaall comes down to that!
My hyur male gives me serotonin boost each time I look at him, none of my alt characters make me blush as much as he does. ☺
Upvote for the Bakka Oppai reference. 👍😁😊
I am a metal-head, but that AMV is one of the best.
So now I have a good reason to level my highlander alt through shadowbringers.
I havent tried any other races yet but i love how Hyur sits on mounts
As a Hyur player, I've been waiting for this video so that mummy Catte can yell at me for being boring and unfun. Inb4 she calls us all boring and unfun.
I'm a hyur player... midlander, since day 1. fantasied into different races at some points, but always, always, back to hyuran. We are the disappearing race in Eorzea. In any city, in any data center, Hyur population are getting fewer and fewer... we are almost at the point of being an endangered species. Basic? Not anymore. She's my Iced blended latte. My favorite.
well.. the video also could have been named : 10 reasons to play a highlander
and I am all for it!
I'm a Highlander myself, and I made it for the reason you stated. I'm a human, in a game of fantasy where everyone else is a cat or dragon. And I was thinking of that last night I'm like man my highlander feels so much more alive in his emotes
I mean, if we look from series perspective, almost every FF protagonist is human or looks like normal human, so...
2:36 you can ride rathalos in FF14?
I’m sold
I don't fantasia (except to make slight tweaks occasionally), I make endless alts. lol I have been considering a Highlander alt and now I want to make one even more. 😆
Do love these videos and am eager to see the Hrothgar one.
At last!
The perfect video!
I love my Thighlander
i think the players who say "Hyur is basic, this is a fantasy game play a fantasy race" forget that all mainline FF games the hero is usually a human male or female.
