There have always been refugees in history. From natural disasters from wars and persecution and torture and hatred... Just for being who you are. But there is a process of applying for safe refuge in another place. The constant flow of small boats and illegal immigrants is recent phenomena. We very much need to work together as humanity and our governments need to act with positive morals and values to create safer communities in people's home countries... Where they are not persecuted, killed, imprisoned, left to starve or die due to lack of support, appropriate use of money on food education health care agriculture. Housing. Infra structure. Social democracy and human rights.

I am so sick of hearing the excuse my parents were migrants and they were welcome here we were living in a different world then the people that were coming over as to your parents and to my father as I am in my 60s now were coming here for the good of the country to work and help build the country The people that are coming here now are out to screw the country and take over the laws of this country for their own benefits. Too many people in suits pretending that they have the answers start talking to the people that work hard in this country as to what this country needs and that is that people that will stand by their sides and work with them not against them.
I too am sick of hearing that. Firstly we are talking extremely small numbers and mostly from places of similar culture/religion. Let's be clear though, no one came here to 'build the country' it was already built over centuries. The crux of the matter is that without paperwork once these people put foot on our shores we cannot remove them. They can claim anything and they are from anywhere, there is no proof and we cannot remove them as no country will take them without passports/papers. This was why Tories were trying to get Rwanda going. But it kept being blocked by Labour and ECHR. The only way to stop the boats is to turn them back before they enter british waters.
