Out of all the ones offered, there was something about that Flash Gordon that really intrigued me. Was able to get one and snag several key back issues. My daughter and I really enjoyed our day.

Was raining by mine too....still backed and boarded 11...honestly I keep these to give to kids or comic fans who didn't get it yet.
11 is great! Yeah, I also always find that there’s 1 or 2 issues I grab for somebody else
The Terrifics was a DC analogue of the Fantastic Four while Marvel was not using the Fantastic Four for out of universe IP reasons and in-universe because the Fantastic Four were helping Franklin Richards recreate the multiverse after Secret Wars.
It’s similar to how the Doctor characters who are not Gallifreyan appeared in the period when Doctor Who was on hiatus.
It’s a good book at least through 20 (probably after, but that’s the last story arc I have).

Great haul. The Popeye issue was great! The One Piece story takes place before the mainline continuity. It's just extra storys of Ace, still cool.

Is it an adaptation of a light novel? I noticed the artist is not Oda.
I've never seen a manga in a comic book form so that's nice and the story is before the first chapter of One Piece. The Terrifics is the second team of DC "Fantastic Four" is with Mr Terrific Plastic man Metamorpho and Phantom Girl ( legion of superheroes) it's a good read from what I heard .

Dark Horse and I think Viz used to publish single issues of manga (Blade of the Immortal comes to mind) in the early days of manga in the US. I still see them in dollar bins.
This year was the third year in a row me and my sister went to the lcs early to wait in line and I got all of the books I really wanted shop limit was 5 this year so I picked up
Absolute power
Spider-Man/ultimate universe
Flash Gordon
Energon universe
Tmnt
And at the end my lcs was just giving out a Star Wars issue that didn’t count towards your books and it was based on some little kids show but there was a plants vs zombies backup and those comics are always fun

In philippines we also have fcbd.but only 2 comics per person.just asking in unites states how many free comics can one person can have.
I think it depends on the shop. Most shops go with the 2 per person limit but it depends
