The only plan of God’s in the New Testament was to die on the cross for our sins to save all who accept His sacrifice, after that the ascension, followed by God allowing conversion of gentiles, and then the things in Revelation. God’s only plan, or rather, expectation, for us who have already been baptized, is for us to spread the gospel and baptize (in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), repent, and also to take the Lord’s Supper, until His 2nd coming after all of the signs have been fulfilled, so that we may live with Him forever on the new earth.

I believe Trump is a walking miracle and he KNOWS it now ! He looked different when he appeared at the convention last night. He looked focused but also humbled. I may be wrong… but either way I hope this draws him closer in his walk with God.
I’d rely on more than just looks. You seem to be projecting a whole internal state onto him as if you can read his heart (so the opposite of the usual when people condemn by claiming to know a heart) without looking at his words and actions. Trump has not said or done anything to indicate an understanding of his sin, the gospel, or his spiritual state. If you care about his salvation, try to stay as objective as possible so that you know it’s true and not just imaginary.

I think Justine had never had a personal encounter with God or experienced God in a special way. I have experience many miracles in life. Those events I can say is miraculous which defy explanation.
Yes! The miracle has happened to me. About 30 years ago, God who chose me from before the foundation of the world, opened my eyes by causing me to be born again, which caused me to see my sinfulness and I repented and believed. I use to mock God until He called me. I have NOTHING to boast In.

If God protected Trump, as He did, because God is in charge of everything, it doesn't mean Trump is a "man of God". Yeah ,proper interpretation of Gods word is nit picky to those who prefer a liberal theology. It was Gods providence(Job 14) that Trump wasnt assassinated but it wasnt God intervening. Which btw, we dont "accept:" Jesus as Lord but the Father draws us to Himself and gives us the heart of repentance and the measure of faith. (John 6:44). We cant choose life over death when we are dead in our sin w/o God directing us to do so. Salvation is all of God and so is our sanctification. The works we do is a result of the Spirit in us. I stopped watching this video after 4 minutes and 36 seconds. But I say this, if something happens that results in God being glorified, it is best to leave it alone. Never try to stop God from being glorified, especially since He will not yield His glory to another. Who are we to try to stop others from praising/glorifying the Lord?

Well over my years I've used the term "luck" until I got saved. Saying your lucky now I think is degrading to God. The absolute ODDS that he didn't die are astronomical. He turned his at just the right moment. A probability analysis would give us numbers off the charts. I don't know for sure, but if God didn't want trump dead, then it seemed highly probable that there was some kind of intervention. Why didn't Daniel die in the lions den? Because God interviened. That was not luck my friends! Daniel got Lucky that the lions were not hungry or agitated by his presents is not luck! I don't agree w Justin on this one. You can't thwart God's ways because of His "intervention". Doesn't matter if it was from eternity past or a couple days ago! Again, with God there is no "luck".

I was watching the rally all day. At around 4pm i just started to cry. Then started praying for protection of Trump and all the people there. I asked Jesus to send Angels to shield them. I know God was inn this and always in control. ❤

This is not the time to espouse Calvinist' doctrine of sovereignty. Anyway, its quite clear that God intervened. It could have gone another way. Actively sustaining the universe is different from how God interacts with his man. He gave man free will to choose. He can choose life or death, blessing or cursing. He recommends that we choose life so that we can partner with Him on living the abundant life. He said I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly. Part of that abundant life is having His divine protection and intervention as we pray and intercede. I think Ephesians 6:11 is perfect to capsulize this event. Don't need to forensically analyze but accept it as a banner of this miraculous event.
I totally can say for myself I been in moments I should of been hurt in a car accident, my front wheel came off on the fast lane going 65 mph and someone took hold of my car in front from flipping over till I pulled over, later go to my moms and she said what are you doing here ? If it isn't specifically written in the Bible, they say it isn't true or it isn't from God. The Bible literally shows us that God does intervene. God is definitely sovereign and can definitely save or destroy whomever or whatever he chooses. They say that God cannot change his mind but the Bible shows that he can. "When Moses and Amos interceded for sinful Israel, God changed His mind and decided not to judge His people (Exod. 32:12-14; Amos 7:1-6). When the Ninevites repented, God changed His mind and did not judge them as He had threatened (Jon. 3:4-10). This willingness to change His mind is an aspect of divine mercy, which He typically extends toward sinners (Jer. 18:5-10; Joel 2:13; Jon. 4:2)." When you say that God cannot change his mind, you are saying that God is duplicitous in his interaction with his people. Meaning he says one thing but does another when all along he was going to do the other thing.

God can intervene in human life and God will continue to intervene. God did help the Israelites to cross the Red Sea. God did many miracles in the past. God is a God of miracles and He can do anything.
I also believe that God does intervene on our behalf sometimes. God can be active in our lives on a daily basis and still intervene for us. I am pretty sure that parents who are actively participating in their children's lives have intervened on their behalf at some point or another. Real-life examples of God intervening to help people: Stopping a revolver from firing after being pointed at a law enforcement, but yet works fine otherwise. Healing someone from an incurable disease on the spot Someone unknown to you coming to your rescue at the last minute in a hopeless legal situation Being involved in a car accident where you were strapped in your seatbelt before but are now standing outside the vehicle and the seatbelt is still buckled. I would call that intervention. When Jesus stepped in between a woman and men who were about to stone her to death. That's a huge intervention right there. And the most important intervention of all is when Jesus took our place on the Cross and rose 3 days later. He intervened and stopped death from ultimately taking us when we die. From a divine perspective, to intervene means to step in on someone else's behalf and stop something bad from happening to them or to help them where they otherwise would have been unable to help themselves through an experience or situation. I believe God does this more often than you think.

At the risk of being too risque, I’m going to say that most people who believe that Donald Trump‘s life was saved believe so because they think God thinks Donald Trump is GOOD. I will say that I believe Trump’s life was spared, but not for the reasons that he is good. Open your minds, people and see the sovereignty of God. And see that not everybody who serves the Lord’s purpose is good.

God is your refuge and strength. He is your protection and he has commanded angels to come to your aid.

@@Car1a People read about miracles in scripture and think they were common. They believe that they can decree and declare and God will grant them all they desire. It doesn't work like that. It never has. God is sovereign.
Think about it this way Justin, miracles happen every day, and the reason being is so God can get the glory, in order to make people aware of God's amazing power, so yes it may not have been Trump's time but, the world seeing that, didn't know that, only God knows that, so in the eyes of people seeing this, it was a miracle, it was God intervening. Because of people seeing this just think how much closer to God they are now, or even knowing him for the first time. Praise God for his timing. In the end God is getting the glory, and his name is getting magnified, I believe God works in mysterious ways and everything he does is for a reason.
This is the first time I’ve ever been more confused AFTER listening to Justin Peters. Usually he always clears up the issue because he uses scripture to do so, but I feel like he’s saying God is too busy to fool with any of us: but I’ve always understood that God has a plan for all of His people, in that He determines how we will be utilized to glorify Him. I don’t know if I had panic attack but one night. It was like I was allowed to see how small I was in the universe. It was too much to fathom. I curled into a ball as I laid in bed and called out to Jesus Christ. For help & it left me 😣 I hope and pray to never experience that again

People in the comment section seem to forget that Mr Peters is a reformed Calvinist who believes in predestination. Hence, he believes God CANNOT intervene since according to him and other reformed theologians, everything is already predestined and upheld by God. I am not reformed and I have followed Mr Peters for many years now, this is one of the points I disagree with him on. However, I would like to emphasize the fact that this is nothing new. Calvinists have been saying this for centuries, and I still choose to fellowship with them because they believe in the same Jesus Christ as I do. Please don't let this video and his faith as a reformed Calvinist stop you from listening to him. He's a real child of God and a vessel used by our lord and saviour.

The only sense in which this is true is that people who BELIEVE they have an experience with God (which includes mutually exclusive supposed encounters from ppl in different religions) are more amenable to emotion than reason. Back in the mid nineties I was working for a company replacing a school roof,and a good sized one too.On this particular day it was very hot and humid and by the end of that workday all on that roof were exhausted and just wanted to finish for the day and get off and out of the sun.The foreman asked me to cover up the materials with some heavy poly in case it rained or a heavy dew so they wouldn't get wet.I was pulling the poly over the materials and as I was so hot and tired I lost my grip as my hands were sweaty.I started back-pedaling toward the knee-wall several feet behind me.I knew as I was going toward that knee-wall and being off balance that when my foot came in contact with that wall that I was going over the edge.The very second my left heel came in contact with that wall it felt like there was a wall behind me and I stopped cold in my tracks and felt as if I was being forcibly pushed down and ended up in a sitting position on top of the knee-wall.I remember looking over my left shoulder at the 25 foot drop I should have taken but didn't! There was no doubt in my mind that God had his hand on my shoulder at that moment,I should have been killed but God had other ideas! If that wasn't Divine intervention,I don't know what is and I believe with all my heart and soul that yes,he was saved by divine intervention as well and you will not convince me otherwise!!!!

As I'm driving across the highway in the rain an 18-wheeler transport truck passed me and my car was blanketed with water. I couldn't see and I was hydroplaning for about 10 seconds. I had absolutely no control and no vision. When the water cleared I was just inches away from the center medium which would have killed us all if I had hit. God INTERVENED!!!! I feel sorry for your limited and weak faith Justin for believing God doesn't have any intervention with his beloved. For believing that he can only uphold all things and therefore doesn't have anything left for intervention. I'm not sure if you have changed or you are more comfortable now and so are revealing more of the real you this year but the differences between your faith and mine are too big. You seem to be projecting a whole internal state onto him as if you can read his heart (so the opposite of the usual when people condemn by claiming to know a heart) without looking at his words and actions. If God protected Trump, as He did, because God is in charge of everything, it doesn't mean Trump is a "man of God". I feel a lot of people, particularly Americans, make the mistake of believing that anyone God puts in power, or allows to gain power, is a "man of God". The fact that many Americans believe the Republican party is God's party of choice only goes to show how idolatrous and blasphemous they have become. And the "lesser of two evils" argument doesn't hold water. To God, there is no "lesser" evil. He makes this clear in Scripture.

Americans need to stop looking for signs that God favours them through men, and actually turn back to God Himself - each individual. The rest will take care of itself. As it is, the world's (note - not just America's) coming captivity is as obvious as the imminent Assyrian and Babylonian captivities of Israel, who also rejected God. This is not the time to espouse Calvinist' doctrine of sovereignty. Anyway, its quite clear that God intervened. It could have gone another way. Actively sustaining the universe is different from how God interacts with his man. He gave man free will to choose. He can choose life or death, blessing or cursing. He recommends that we choose life so that we can partner with Him on living the abundant life. He said I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly. Part of that abundant life is having His divine protection and intervention as we pray and intercede. I think Ephesians 6:11 is perfect to capsulize this event. Don't need to forensically analyze but accept it as a banner of this miraculous event.
I totally can say for myself I been in moments I should of been hurt in a car accident, my front wheel came off on the fast lane going 65 mph and someone took hold of my car in front from flipping over till I pulled over, later go to my moms and she said what are you doing here ? I am learning that Calvanists apparently do not worship God, or seek God. They worship the Bible--words on paper. The more I listen, the more they sound like Pharisees. If it isn't specifically written in the Bible, they say it isn't true or it isn't from God. The Bible literally shows us that God does intervene. God is definitely sovereign and can definitely save or destroy whomever or whatever he chooses. They say that God cannot change his mind but the Bible shows that he can. "When Moses and Amos interceded for sinful Israel, God changed His mind and decided not to judge His people (Exod. 32:12-14; Amos 7:1-6). When the Ninevites repented, God changed His mind and did not judge them as He had threatened (Jon. 3:4-10). This willingness to change His mind is an aspect of divine mercy, which He typically extends toward sinners (Jer. 18:5-10; Joel 2:13; Jon. 4:2)." When you say that God cannot change his mind, you are saying that God is duplicitous in his interaction with his people. Meaning he says one thing but does another when all along he was going to do the other thing.

I also believe that God does intervene on our behalf sometimes. God can be active in our lives on a daily basis and still intervene for us. I am pretty sure that parents who are actively participating in their children's lives have intervened on their behalf at some point or another.
Real-life examples of God intervening to help people:
Stopping a revolver from firing after being pointed at a law enforcement, but yet works fine otherwise.
Healing someone from an incurable disease on the spot
Someone unknown to you coming to your rescue at the last minute in a hopeless legal situation
Being involved in a car accident where you were strapped in your seatbelt before but are now standing outside the vehicle and the seatbelt is still buckled. I would call that intervention.
When Jesus stepped in between a woman and men who were about to stone her to death. That's a huge intervention right there. And the most important intervention of all is when Jesus took our place on the Cross and rose 3 days later.
He intervened and stopped death from ultimately taking us when we die.
From a divine perspective, to intervene means to step in on someone else's behalf and stop something bad from happening to them or to help them where they otherwise would have been unable to help themselves through an experience or situation. I believe God does this more often than you think.

Think about it this way Justin, miracles happen every day, and the reason being is so God can get the glory, in order to make people aware of God's amazing power, so yes it may not have been Trump's time but, the world seeing that, didn't know that, only God knows that, so in the eyes of people seeing this, it was a miracle, it was God intervening. Because of people seeing this just think how much closer to God they are now, or even knowing him for the first time. Praise God for his timing. In the end God is getting the glory, and his name is getting magnified, I believe God works in mysterious ways and everything he does is for a reason.

Usually he always clears up the issue because he uses scripture to do so, but I feel like he’s saying God is too busy to fool with any of us: but I’ve always understood that God has a plan for all of His people, in that He determines how we will be utilized to glorify Him. I wonder why my comments get thrown out repeatedly. First the program says the comment has been posted, then when later I look at the comments again, it's gone. Anyone else have the same experience?
Back in the mid nineties I was working for a company replacing a school roof,and a good sized one too.On this particular day it was very hot and humid and by the end of that workday all on that roof were exhausted and just wanted to finish for the day and get off and out of the sun.The foreman asked me to cover up the materials with some heavy poly in case it rained or a heavy dew so they wouldn't get wet.I was pulling the poly over the materials and as I was so hot and tired I lost my grip as my hands were sweaty.I started back-pedaling toward the knee-wall several feet behind me.I knew as I was going toward that knee-wall and being off balance that when my foot came in contact with that wall that I was going over the edge.The very second my left heel came in contact with that wall it felt like there was a wall behind me and I stopped cold in my tracks and felt as if I was being forcibly pushed down and ended up in a sitting position on top of the knee-wall.I remember looking over my left shoulder at the 25 foot drop I should have taken but didn't! There was no doubt in my mind that God had his hand on my shoulder at that moment,I should have been killed but God had other ideas! If that wasn't Divine intervention,I don't know what is and I believe with all my heart and soul that yes,he was saved by divine intervention as well and you will not convince me otherwise!!!!
I had a couple of similar situations where I could have died where I am certain God intervened. I am amazed every time I think about it. God is good. Thank you for sharing your story

I see miraculous healing from God all the time. But this intervention is definite a miracle of miracles from God!
Wasnt his time to go. Sadly it was the poor firemans/dad to go. God allowed this to happen.
God uses even tragedy for good in the lives of His children. God will get the glory. Human beings have freewill in this world though.

because we believe he intervenes doesn't mean we don't believe he is sovereign and upholds everything by his hand.
God most definitely intervenes.

I have many such stories.
Just one: when I was picking up kids and a major storm was about to hit. I prayed for protection and God told me to pray against hydroplaning. I had never prayed that before nor did it ever enter my mind.
As I'm driving across the highway in the rain an 18-wheeler transport truck passed me and my car was blanketed with water. I couldn't see and I was hydroplaning for about 10 seconds.
I had absolutely no control and no vision. When the water cleared I was just inches away from the center medium which would have killed us all if I had hit.
God INTERVENED!!!!
I feel sorry for your limited and weak faith Justin for believing God doesn't have any intervention with his beloved. For believing that he can only uphold all things and therefore doesn't have anything left for intervention.
I'm not sure if you have changed or you are more comfortable now and so are revealing more of the real you this year but the differences between your faith and mine are too big. I am constantly disappointed by you this year.

God did intervene and does intervene!!! God is not dead!!! Justin does a good job exposing false prophets and things but this is ridiculous!!!!!!! I give got credit for ALL things in my life!!!!!!!!!! PERIOD.
Cory is certainly better off now than any of us still in this evil nation. I pray God comforts his family as they grieve their loss of their dad and husband. Cory did die a hero shielding his family and now he is praising the Lord in the presence of the Lord and all the great witnesses!

The purpose of prayer is not to stop something from happening. The purpose of prayer is to be thankful and to praise God while asking for mercy, blessings or forgiveness. We are taught to call out to him in good and bad times. But God's purpose and will has already been laid out before he created us. the Bible teaches us to pray for our enemies because they do not know what they do. Not to pray so they can stop attacking us
Please pray for my mum and brother. She has dementia and is losing her memory. She talks about my brother all the time, but isn’t able to contact him and all she wants is to see him one more time before she forgets him. Please pray for healing for them both.
I believe that God did intervene to save Trump. We ask people to pray for their leaders and for their protection. If that is not asking God to "intervene, " then what are we asking Him to do?
