Isle of Man TT diary part 3: Racing isn’t going to plan!

- We’re near the end of race week and weather is really causing a lot of disruptions here! With all action cancelled again today (Thursday) the organization have had to revise the schedule again for tomorrow, which will see 3 races on the final day.
I’ve had my own issues in the races we have had this week. A problem in the supertwin pit stop where the bike wouldn’t start and the fuel cap wouldn’t come off in the superstock race. I guess it’s all part of it but some luck would be nice for the final day.
A big thanks to the organisers for doing their best to always ensure our safety and put on a great show where possible. To the fans and Marshalls for enduring the weather and changes and my crews for their continued hard work.

There's a very competitive field with different winners across the classes, top 10 is still a result considering the conditions.
Was just brilliant to see Josh back in the winners enclosure fully deserved unbelievable rider 👏 seeing the fans waving their programmes at the creg as he was bringing it home after a few spells of bad luck (and weather) was amazing 🙌 And the speeds he was achieving at the speed trap compared to everyone else was special! I’ll never forget been sat in a hedge on Sulby and Josh came screaming down the road full send on the Norton. That thing was wild 🤣 100% there’s a TT trophy with Josh’s name on in the near future 🏆
Each time you visit the island you seem to get quicker. Great 2nd place finish in the Senior today, you must be chuffed.
Got to be happy with a second in the Senior, setting your PB too. Nice one. Espcially after mounting the curb at Kirk Michael - my stomach was in my mouth so can only guess where yours was.
Congratulations Josh. Your certainly making your mark in the TT and that top step is not too far away I am sure.
Such challenging circumstances with the weather interruptions making it so hard to get the flow going. And what a shame with the fuel cap issue. Hope for better tomorrow and good luck. Off work tomorrow so I'll be on the TT+ coverage cheering you and all the riders to go well and stay safe.

Congrats on the podium. Was just hoping to see you do well after the bad luck, that's a fantastic result. Saw you as a youngster in Oz, saw you in the classics at the island, love watching how versatile you are. Best of luck back in the UK championship.

Such a frustrating TT for you and it was easy to tell in interviews how disappointed you were. So it was genuinely heartwarming to be stood at the side of the road waving my programme at you on the last lap of the Senior as you came home to a well deserved runner up place. When you finally hang your leathers up that result will be one you never forget- and the fans and the history books will never forget. It's so hard to even finish a TT, second place in the Senior is very special. And it showed true spirit, never giving up, just keep trying because at the TT anything can happen and if you just keep plugging away a big result is possible. Well done Josh and thanks for the entertainment, a lot of people by the side of the road thought you thoroughly deserved that one.

How come you was so much faster in the speed traps?
Was it bike set up, your size or how you got the corner before?
I’d say it’s because I tuck in more and about 20kg lighter
