I love that Yamaha. Could you tell me the bridge spacing? I've heard it's supposed to be 19mm but that looks a little tighter.
Hi Jared, great bassline thanks! Quick question, in bar 17, you play the b7 but this is not a 7th chord. Is that a mistake or is it just a passing note? Would it be better to play the Maj7?
since that is just a Bb triad the b7 is a valid choice. The maj7 isn't good as a bass note because it forms a minor 9th with the root of the chord that obscures the quality, so whenever you would play a 7th and you cannot play the b7 (like on a maj7) you should play the 6. The b7 here actually acts as a passing tone to the 6
