- Grace VanderWaal debuts her original song "Burned" at a benefit concert for Valley Hospital Auxiliary's pledge to support child and adolescent mental health, and Valley's "Butterflies" program. Butterflies provides a team that plans and assesses needs for families caring for seriously ill children at home. (Ramapo High School auditorium, Franklin Lakes, New Jersey). Grace is a champion of those in need and continues to participate in various benefits. Never performed publicly before this event, Burned became a huge fan favorite with countless covers on youtube.

Yes, you've got it right, Sam Borgman. So, Fredee Ziffel, could you please correct that to the lyrics (to the 2nd verse), as well as the corrections below, too?
- The line just before the beginning of the verse 2 should be "Wanna, wanna get burned"
- All choruses should be marked as: "[1st chorus]", "[2nd chorus]" and "[3rd chorus]".
- The third chorus, second line, should be "Oh little boy, you never learned" (also Harlechmaker commented about this on your video of Just A Crush at this same benefit concert).
- Also, the very last seven (7) lines of the lyrics (the 2nd part of the 3rd chorus) should be replaced with the stuff below:

Sam - do you concur with SJL's lyric changes?? Or should we run it by Quinn?
I'm sure about this and checked out and confirmed also Harlechmaker's comment on your Just A Crush video. You hear those lyrics correctly by turning volume up AND by adjusting bass lower and treble higher (on PC, for example, there should also be graphical equalizer at your service, from there you can click the below 200 Hz to -1 at least and higher range to +1 or more, especially around 500 Hz (0.5 kHz). And / or you may use treble-prefering headphones (eg. most hands-free earbuds) and simply listen to the video by using your smartphone.
Grace, I am leaving instructions to play your songs at my funeral some day, because I know they will bring me back to life.

At the end of this song her eyes scan the crowd looking for their response to her new song and then she can't help but smile as she sees how well it's recieved. I enjoyed this new song a lot - both the composition and Grace's beautiful, one-of-a-kind singing. Her voice is already growing, getting fuller and more able to hit hard notes, since AGT.
I'm also a big fan of Anna Graceman, and I'm happy that AGT gave them a big stage, and the opportunity to reach a very large audience. There is no need to rank between the two of them, they are both AMAZING talents, each one with her own special style, each one a great joy to listen to.
I hope Grace's first album will achieve its well deserved success.

Had Grace performed this song in Austria the reaction would have been Huge, the song has a very European feel to it. Too its a very mature song, perhaps, like the superb "12 Stars" too deep for folk who'd identify more with Clay, Beautiful Thing and so on. As a percussionist I find her, at her best, to be one of (if not the most) captivating Live artists that I have ever seen. She completely occupies your attention; as near as you can get to perfectly natural; possessing, and putting to perfect use a breathtakingly beautiful voice for which she writes the finest songs, one after another; sang across subtle, frequently sublime rhythms. Over the years AGT/BGT and the rest have brought to the fore some brilliant young musicians, Jackie, Carly, Angelina, Arixsandra, Marlisa, James, and others equally compelling. There are other prodigies, e.g. Jasmine Thompson, who also are very talented. However Grace stands apart. Heidi Klum's surmisation, post the Performance of Clay - AGT 2016 Final says it all "I feel like in a sea of jewels you are the rawest and most original Diamond, or rarest Diamond of them all .. because I feel you just shine that little bit brighter than everyone else .. I feel like you are a true gift to music" .. We are very fortunate to live at a time when such gifted people are so easily accessible. I am thrilled, in this Lifetime, I got to hear and see Grace.

Seriously, over and over again I find I like her live renditions _even_ better than the album version. I guess they're a bit less produced, with fewer instruments perhaps, and also seeing her facial expressions helps me notice more of the nuances, and appreciate just how _good_ a singer she is.
