Ok, every song I’ve heard from The Outsiders Musical I really like! Performers have amazing vocals. The clips I’ve seen of the stage production look dynamic, loving the choreography! So I think they have done it justice. BUT when I keep seeing these songs done to clips of the movie it is a bit jarring in that I realize that the 2024 pop trendy sound of the musical does not go with the era that the book, movie are actually set in. I do like the music so maybe I would have to see production in totality to see how it all fits together.
Well, this video includes footage from the music videos, and a few clips from the actual musical, and the music isn't from the musical. Sorry if I didn't catch something correctly, I'm half asleep writing this, 😅 but you should definitely go see the musical.
