The first generation still used to visit India to meet their relatives. My grandfather was from Aligarh but had relatives in Lucknow.I along with my father and grandfather visited Lucknow back in 1989. Back then we used to get visas from Karachi through Indian consulate. There used to be a direct flight of Indian airlines between Karachi and Mumbai twice a week that is why most of us used to go directly to Mumbai.

My cousins from my mom's side are Sindhi Muslims so one of my cousins is married to an Indian Muslim from Hyderabad Deccan living in Canada.

Mahesh Bhai should buy Mysore Sandal soap - it is a brand used by the Royals of Mysore city of Karnataka for centuries. Sandal wood is very expensive and it's Oil is very rare and much sort out in the world. Sandal trees r grown in Karnataka with license from forest Dept. And is sold through forest Dept. The soap is an original brand a must try atleast once.

Mahesh Bhai should buy Mysore Sandal soap - it is a brand used by the Royals of Mysore city of Karnataka for centuries. Sandal wood is very expensive and it's Oil is very rare and much sort out in the world. Sandal trees r grown in Karnataka with license from forest Dept. And is sold through forest Dept. The soap is an original brand a must try atleast once.

Assam borders with West Bengal it I am not mistaken, usually products go to Kolkata (Dry Dates of Pakistan) usually Imported for Prasad for Mandirs and large Qty of Dry Dates for Herbal Medicines and Mouthfreshner items.Pink Salt usually common Indian people think that it is Indian product but it comes from Pakistan only as Pakistan has largest reserve of Pink Salt commonly known as Himalayan Salt
