- Revdanda fort
The fort is located at the mouth of the Kundalika River. It is easily accessible by road. Earlier the fort was guarded on three sides by creek water. The main entrance is from the southern side.It is one of the best photogenic places to visit in AlibaugRevdanda Fort is at a distance of 5 km from Korlai, 18 km from Alibaug and 15 km from Kashid. This fort is an ancient Portuguese fort located at Revdanda in Raigad district of Maharashtra. Revdanda Beach is an isolated beach and is situated near the fort. This beach is still not commercialised, which gives an excellent natural view and beauty. Condition of the fort is not good at present but the coconut trees peeping out on high adds to beauty. The only issue that this fort is not maintained that well.The Revdanda fort remains shows the strength of old architectural excellence which is still keeping sea water from coming in..If you wish to experience serenity, relax with a book in hand or just walk along the coast, without having too much to worry, this is the place to be. This place is also a famous spot for camping.
Korlai Fort
Korlai town is located about 25km south of Alibag. As you pass through the town towards the hill you are greeted with amazing views of the Arabian Sea, the beach, the Light house and the hill top where the Korlai fort lies.
The path leading to the light house is cemented but narrow. The trek to the fort begins at the light house. It’s an uphill path and requires some climbing. The trek is fairly easy and the views from the top are amazing. The fort although in ruins, still has a lot of charm. The fort includes bastions, a remnant of a church, canons,etc. The fort was built by the Portuguese and was later under the Marathas.
Kolaba fort
The most prominent and historical place in Alibag is the Kolaba fort. One should never give it a miss under any circumstances.
It’s accessible from the Alibag beach through a 5 mins boat during High tide which would. cost Rs 200/- each person. You can buy the ticket from the beach where there would be a temporary ticket counter set up for tourists.
During low tide you can walk upto the fort or take a horse cart ride. So we strictly recommend you to visit this fort during low tide. As walking through the waters of sea is a memorable & time saving experience all together. Once you reach the fort you have to buy tickets. Children below 12 can enter free while adults will have to pay Rs 20/- each.
This is a protected monument by the Archeological Department of India.The fort is engineering marvelous for sure. You can see the old walls, temples, freshwater wells, and big pillars. Ganesh temple & Bhavani temple will refresh you. The old two Cannons on the fort are worth seeing.
Versoli Beach
The beach is awesome & quite shallow so you can’t walk on towards the sea for quite a distance. It is pristine and clean beach. Long stretch of clean sand. Among all beaches around alibaug this is best beach for families to play and have fun even as there are water sports activities here.
Saswane Beach
This beach is much unexplored & hence no social activities are carried out here.
Mandwa beach
Mandwa is a village in Raigad district, Maharashtra, India. It is popular as a weekend beach destination from Mumbai city, mainly because of the direct Ferry services available near Mandwa Beach to and from Mumbai
Regular ferries are available from Gateway of India to reach Mandwa jetty to reach the beach.
Akshi beach
Akshi beach is extended part of Nagaon beach on the north side. Beach is less visited hence less crowded and clean. You can see Alibag beach, Kolaba fort from Akshi beach. On the north end, a lot of fishing boats are available. A Good place to spend evening time on the beach. Hardly any watersports are available. Beach is safe and flat for swimming.
One local dish you can try out at this place is Popti.
The combination of Vaal shenga, potato, onions, eggs n marinated chicken was stuffed in pot and then it was heated with natural fire. Steamed cooked chicken stuff is ready.
Nagaon Beach
One of the famous beaches in Alibaug, the Nagaon beach is a perfect weekend getaway spot. This beach is mostly crowded during the weekends. The beach and water are a bit dirty but you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
The site is popular for picnic and weekend getaway. There are numerous cottages, holiday homes, farmhouses and bungalows
Alot of activities are carried out at this beach.

iv) Speed boat
Parasailing in water at Rs.1000 per head

Kihim Beach
Quite a nice beach. One side is rocky but there is quite a long stretch of Sandy beach on the other side.
