Its her choice. If she is happy raising her kids and mahesh is a good husband and father ..its ok i guess. We need not bring independent woman or dominant man etc etc.. Even a house husband is fine...if the man feels ok with it. Its the couples choice. At the end of the day happy marriage counts. Not who is dominating , earning etc. Let them live thier lives.

First thing, she was not a busy top actress at that time. Even top actresses like Madhuri ,sridevi or aish started working less after getting married. Point to note is their age of marriage .they wd hv crossed 30 which is ideal for Indian women to settle down and raise family. Mahesh Babu is born rich ,great career and does not require his wife's money. Plus she looks after their family business. Totally win win situation for both. None lost anything. So this argument can settle

My best advice is to avoid these type of misleading interviews where the person is interviewed only because he or she is married to a famous mperson. She as far as I know was a miss universe but acting I think was not her interest so she easily left it. Remember when you love a work that gives you piece, strength and power no matter what you will treat it like your own child and will never leave it. At last my only suggestion for every woman instead of watching these interviews please follow acharya prashant the greatest motivational speaker.

Not a problem if a woman chooses not to work after marriage by her own choice. Taking care of a family is the biggest responsibility of working. Haan the toughest part is developing that trust yes she will not be taken for granted after becoming a house wife. See I am single that's the reason I could write on this "developing trust" because it's rare to have in your life.

Women encouraging patriarchy in the name of love, family life, marriage etc. She is from a generation which made a woman accept everything a man dictates. The fact that she calls him supportive to let her go and meet her family whenever she wants an is absolutely bizarre and shocking statement, and would be just unacceptable to anyone who would call herself a modern India woman. However, the level of acceptance to everything and anything which a husband says is so deep that the woman doesn’t realise she has been a victim all this along. No harm to her in her mind if she is happy with this, but this interview and her statements are very harmful to the new age society India is transitioning into- and such statements would never let the boys and men grow out of this ancient thought of what a woman is and ought to do.

Recognizing One's talent and using it to make a living is not just a matter of choice but it is compulsory for every human. Even if it a male or a female even a transgender it is very important to make an independent identity because before being a wife or a mother we are a human being. It has spiritual importance if we don't balance our shakti feminine side and Shiva the masculine side then we won't attain salvation and to balance the Shiva we need to work. Not to do something that is not our cup of tea but to understand ourselves work on our skill and to then make a living. And remember if you want to spread the light and to give life you have to become the sun first.
