the lady painting at 5:04 (annieartliving) made my heart melt. Her voice is so soft, she seems like she would be a great listening ear, and would help bring you comfort if you're feeling down. The intention behind her art piece and her ending comment is the most wholesome thing I've witnessed in a while.
1:54 this transwomen and women sports is a serious thing..the bathroom part I understand but they do have a clear biological advantage in sports which is almost unfair to "cis women" and Iam saying this with utmost respect. So unless after true full transition and completely done...the still in phase transition are just playing dirty😂 2:31 okay... wow ❣️
this comment clearly shows transphobia...even if you don ´ t mean it that way. Why would a cis man seriously try to ¨become a woman¨ to win in women´s sports? I am fully aware the argument would be to succeed easier and take advantage of the cis women, but this only in turn ends up hurting the trans women who ARE WOMEN wanting to compete in sports. By excluding trans women from women ´ s sports you are excluding a whole group of valid, talented women wanting to pursue their passion. You are actually afraid of cis men like summer said, and there are things that can be done to help prevent the situation you fear. A lot of trans women also take HRT (hormone therapy), making it so they are on a level playing field with the other competitors. I am in no way saying a trans woman has to take hormone therapy or make any physical changes to be valid, but a lot do make that decision.
@@siennag4224 yeah, i understand what you are saying, but i also understand what the other person is saying. I think that it is fair to have a transwoman be pretty much fully transitioned to the greatest of their ability before they can be in professional sports, as not all of their original muscle mass had been redistributed. I think though that in the future, there will not be as big of a dispute over this because people will start transitioning earlier in life for the most part.
So, funnily enough, cis women have been barred from certain sports and competitions because of thoughts like this, that "certain types of women should be excluded because they have an 'advantage' etc". I know it happed to a cis woman of colour, for example, and apparently cis women of colour are often targeted by these sorts of practices. The exclusionary shit usually comes back to harm the people who wanted to exclude others in the first place, though. It never really works out for anyone 😅 It may be a better idea to just have different skill brackets, or something like that. Not exclusionary, but takes into account if some people are naturally more fit for certain sports. Still very iffy though, and I can see that concept going very awry as well.
also in history, i would just like to make a point for all of us,, cis women have been caught (I think it was Russia, although it could've just been the Soviet Union in general, whatever) in the olympics taking testosterone, they were forced to by their governments, coaches, you get the point. I dunno if this has any relevance to the topic at hand, but yeah
Trans woman here, i'm only 6 months on HRT, and i can't open my pickle jar, even if you held a gun next to my head. Trans women have no advantage over cis women
The woman who holds the cardboard paper is really speaking facts! Talking from personal experience 😏
