i never thought i would find a manhwa that stood up in who made me a princess's level.
How to get my husband on my side's characters are so GOOD their designs and their personality, the misunderstandings are not annoying unlike the other manhwas, and rubi's character is so realistic, and Ruby and Izek's relashionship develompent was the best i have ever seen from all the manwha. Who made me a princess and how to get my husband on my side will forever be my favorite and is something i will never get tired of reading
I'm so happy I'm not the only one who shares this opinion haha! I agree with you so so much on this, especially with the point you've made about the two leads' relationship and character development. So nice to see something of WMMAP's caliber again.
THIS IS SO SO TRUEEE
They've got the best and healthiest relationship in any of the manhwas I've read. Everything is so realistic and authentic.
And usually, any misunderstandings that are huge annoy me so bad and put me off from wanting to read the rest of the story. But I LOVEEEE how they handled it in here, it's not annoying, in fact it adds to the story as it should. The other misunderstandings in manhwas are usually unnecessary and could've been better off without. But in this manhwa, the misunderstandings further develop and strengthen their relationship and it felt so sweet and cute to know the actual truth on each of those situations. They both actually care for and love each other.
And it's not a cliche that seems annoying. The characters don't excuse their actions, but instead try to improve from their mistakes. Izek seems so cold and distant at first, but I was so relieved to see he isn't the typical "heartless and emotionless" manhwa husband. He's got emotions and he's an amazing husband to Ruby. He tries his best for Ruby and doesn't just abandon her or treat her horribly. Izek is my favourite male lead ever tbh. He's just got so much character and healthy development. He's also not crazy or those annoying ones where they love but don't show it so their partner feels unneeded.

I'm sorry on behalf for all of those soft, sweet and forgiving people out there but i can't really accept Izek. He and most of the people around Ruby has hurt her way to much, and she deserves much better than that. No matter how they would regret their wrongdoings, the wounds in Ruby heart will forever be still there. What she deserves is freedom and people who will love her as who she is from the beginning, not a romance.
May I ask why you dislike Izek?
@@Piinkkdiamond not particularly "dislike", more like I can't really accept him. Besides the fact that he had hurt Ruby emotionally so many times (albeit he had his reasons), the way that he showed his affection or " love " can be said to be a bit toxic. In my opinion, Ruby priority is not a romantic relationship but a freedom to make her own choices in life. I don't particularly hate nor like Izek, but for me, in my opinion the way he handles problems or keeping his subordinates/friends around him will only hurt Ruby further.
@@dokjamybelovedsquid Your opinion is completely valid and I do agree with the points you've made, buuut, I'm hoping you don't drop the story because of it. I've read the novel (not fully, but enough to say this) and I can assure you that he's sure to have really good character development throughout the story! Although he did love Ruby from the start, he really didn't know how to act on them in the beginning and ended up hurting Ruby which is something that I dislike so I can understand your opinion on him. Even if you don't accept Izek at the moment rhough, do stick around for the rest of the plot if you can! How to get my husband on my side is honestly one of the best manhwa/ webnovel stories I've read which is of course my own opinion but I highly recommend you continue it.
@@dokjamybelovedsquid you know right that most of times all that you've seen was a distorted point of view of facts since the story is from Ruby's perspective right? reading the novel you'll realize that Izek is in fact just a normal person who doesn't really know shit about feelings.for example situations like the freya's poisoning are way different from his perspective: he told Ruby to go away beacuse the poison could've affected her if she stayed in contact with freya.
@@sonia7104 not really, since I do read the novel a little bit. That's why I said that i didn't particularly like nor dislike him, neutral at most. I do understand how he can't really express his feelings and how he had a difficult time because of it, but we can't really deny the fact that many of his actions can be really toxic sometimes. That's why, I said that. Even if he truly loves Ruby wholeheartedly and is trying to fix his own actions, for Ruby which is mentally unhealthy. His actions can be a bit too much for her to handle. What I prioritize from this is Ruby mental health, romance can be for latter.
Edit: in fact, i actually hated his sister rather than him. She had the audacity to do 'those' things to Ruby, then apologize for it as if it will fixed everything. Bruh-
