The Bengali version of this song has been sung by Ashaji with again a very different style with lot of intricacies embedded in the gayaki. As opposed to that Lataji 's rendition is direct and yet complex by its simplicity because it's very difficult to sing, write or do any form of art simply. Please do listen to Ashaji's version as well if you haven't so far.

We (myself, husband and daughter) attended your concert @ Shanmukhananda on 19th March (Nav Varsha Sandhya). I was mesmerised, i should say, transfixed with your performance. At one point, during dil ki tapish, i even trembled. Have never experienced that with any singer, even Sonu Nigam or Shreya Ghoshal, and they are one of our best! Only complaint, you didn't spend time with the audience and click selfies😅. I persisted, so you signed my daughter's music book, and she's blessed🙏🏻 Please conduct classes for kids and adults like this. It will open up a world for especially children who are learning or can be spurred towards singing and music.
