One of the most satisfying things are the double-corners that you can just carve one smooth arc around... kissing the first apex, moving over to the other side of the track, and coming back in to kiss the other apex, all while holding the same lean angle and throttle amount. I don’t know why but I think its beautiful. I do it when I walk on the sidewalk

Yammers is already a simp for Triumph’s three cylinder, so I’m not surprised that he’s taken to the MV so well.

Triples sound awesome at high rpm. Triples are CROSSPLANE ENGINES by design. They offer torque and high rpm horsepower. Very similar to a V4. I can be in 6th gear at 2000 rpm on my MV Dragster and it is happy as a clam. Turn the throttle and you fly up to 13,000 rpm singing like a F1.
I am partial to the sounds of 3 cylinders but I don't think it's the greatest. I think Yammie is just real stoked right now and why not, looks and sounds an absolute peach.
Could do with an after market pipe maybe
Personnaly I like the small displacement 4 cylinder like the japanese use to make in the 90's it doesn't have a huge amount of hp but its screaming all the way up to 19/20.000 rpm for some of them but damn this MV sounds good
@@gorillamoto5329 yeah but in europe (especialy France) having a smaller bike can help, the price of gasoline is way more expensive here so having a bigger bike as a student is kind of hard and you have the A2 license wich block you to have only 47.5 hp at top for the 2 first year you re riding and if you come with a sportbike (even a 600cc) the inssurance is just gonna laught at you 😅 and if they re okay to take you they just gonna murder you with the price 🤣
@@gorillamoto5329 I have an 800 Tiger and when it's wound up it sounds the business. With stock exhaust at idle it's pretty unimpressive.

I could hear this monster at Harris hill the other day from my house. And I’m a few miles away. Hopped on the bike and went to go see what that beautiful sound was. Wish I would have known it was you.
I was there that day on my 675R, but not one of the slow dudes. ECR is AMAZING since it has been repaved. I try to get out there 3-4 times a year with Sport Rider Coaching school.
Had my first track day-esque ride yesterday (last session at an advanced riding course).
God I enjoyed ringing the absolute neck out of my little CBR250R. Will definitely be taking it to a track in the near future.
This video shows that the MV F3 800 in stock form is pretty good on the track, even with it Sachs rear shock and Marzocci forks. To be fair it can't be compared to your Triumph 675 R that's in race trim with Ohlins all round. This MV becomes a beast with some simple suspension work (15wt and 5wt in front forks left and right) and EcuStudio to get full power in each gear.
I haven't even learned to ride but damn this makes me want to get an MV Agusta!!

I'd have to hear it in person to verify, but that just might sound better than my Street Triple.
Not bad for a 3 cyl. I had a 2 bros full exhaust on my 636 that was probably one of the best exhaust notes I've ever heard. My friend has an Interceptor 800, also with 2 bros, sounds incredibly mean.

I feel like a lot of middleweight street bikes should be I3’s. Better top end than twins and better low end than I4’s. It’s a middle of the road middleweight bike. Just makes sense

Okay yammie. A question for you here from someone who doesn't race bikes.
Given that the likes of a fireblade has very little engine braking, yet the sv650/sv1000 and other vee twins have a huge amount. The triple cylinder has got to be the best compromise of the two surely? I.e the ability to not need to trail brake into a corner and allow the engine to do the work has got to be better in some cases right?

HELP! Everywhere I look it says to buy a used bike as a first bike, it makes sense because why would I want to drop a new 1 right? Problem is how am I supposed to know what a good bike looks like on Craigslist if I only been riding a bike for a couple of weeks. I don't have the knowledge to know what to look for. The bike I'm riding is a friend's but he doesn't ride, it was given to him by a neighbor that had no use for it anymore.

No a scooter is a completely different feel to a traditional bike, nothing is going to feel the same due the the extreme change in your centre of gravity
