    Lol editing skills on point! In my culture (Indian Hindu) we also wear white if somebody passes away and have a similar ritual. So interesting how similar cultures are to one another

    Loved this video. It's amazing how similar the Hmong and Korean cultures are - from the family values to the actual houses to some of the tools/equipment they used.

    The walls are stacked stones bc it get super windy and so the wind will just go through the open spaces between the rocks and not fall over :)

    The stacked rocks are symbolic of wishes and prayers. each time a mother or lover makes a wish they put another rock onto their "shrine". Learned this from an old korean drama XD The higher the "shrine" the closer their wishes will come true.

      Right know it's like 4°C in jeju do (Seogwipo).
      It was filmed during summer! :D You can't do much in winter on jeju-do. Better go like may or june.
