Josh Ritter Performs Live at the Leon Loft for Acoustic Café

On May 23, 2019, American singer-songwriter Josh Ritter joined us at the Leon Loft for a short performance and interview with Acoustic Café host Rob Reinhart.
Ritter talked to the audience about getting out of his comfort zone of “writing music on an island” by collaborating with Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires on his latest album “Fever Breaks” and how he uses political songwriting as a way of “keeping up with the daily outrage”, in between playing songs like, “On the Water”, “Old Black Magic”, “I Still Love You (Now and Then)”, “Torch Committee”, and “Silver Blade”, a song that he originally wrote for Joan Baez.
