Before a dog strayed into my house and we cared for her and we gave her to a friend of ours where she lives a happy life and then she had puppies and we ended up getting one of them for FREE we named her Shelby she is a one year old female border collie and if we had turned that stray dog away in the first place we never would’ve gotten our lovely little Shelby 🥺🥺🥺🥺🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

Wait til you find out about the dog breeding industry. Zero regulation, huge amounts of cruelty and exploitation in the name of profit. Most dog owners are funding/supporting it by buying puppies from breeders. There's absolutely no legal oversight over breeders and they don't even pay taxes on their profits. The fact is, most dog owners are too caught up in 'omg so cute' type mentalities to even understand that they are directly responsible for abuse and cruelty of animals. Pet ownership is a problem.
