I'm not in the darts so far, only 2 years not continuously, but in my little experience, the swiss points it's the perfect system, far away light years from the classical point. I only broke 3 points in 1 year and half only cause a friend has a bounce on the bull and the darts fall on the floor, and we were playing without any carpet. It's awesome, and economic!
Great video Marc! Thanks for explaining these things! I didn't think about the fact that the longer the tip the sooner it gets to the board, always wondered why my longer points went flatter.
With every dart I play, I play the Target Storm Point Nano. No Limp so it safes your flights, allows tighter groups and the nano has enough grip to hold tightly but at the same time doesn’t damage your board like the diamond points do
I love to change points and hopefully I can get my hands on some Swiss points because they’re in my opinion the best points you can get and also I have a question, what is the difference between the no6 and no2 k-flex flight
Be nice if the points I buy actually go into my darts and not just fall straight out though.. I bought Target points for my Target darts and they just fell out. It's like the points were too thin.
Points are the most overlooked thing in darts if you ask me. So many players would benefit from longer points but they have idea where to start. I repointed for years and hated it, but now, thanks to Swiss Points it's easy. Yes they can break but I would happily pay for some spares over having to repoint in the traditional way.

36 millimeter long black coated Unicorn Volute points are my favorite. I also throw some Trident One80 nose cones on there. From my personal experience I’d stay away from any Target points. They break very easily!!
The correct answer is smooth. Any other choice is wrong. We had nothing but smooth points for decades and people got on fine. If your darts are falling out, learn to throw them better. And if you rest a finger on the point? You can do that on a smooth one, as people did for donkeys years ago
Not everyone have the same throw and darts have evolved believe it or not. I personally want a smooth barrel and grip on the top part of the point. If I don't have grip on the point, my finger slip sometimes and I play much worse because I don't have the same confidence.

I used to throw storm points. They would snap so easily!!
I'm using the Target Exo 02 darts and changed my standard 26mm silver points to 35mm gold GRD points and have to say they are brilliant... 😊
excellent I like hearing of changes that helped!
Cheers for the advice 👍
Thanks for the explaining.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks, nice video!
I use a shot soft tip dart with reflex points.
I’m using the Swiss Point conversion kit on my Shot Celt Druid soft tip darts and they work superbly! In fact I’ve never been throwing so well
I also use the swiss point adapter on my Red Dragon razor extremes... wonderful.

Number 6 are smaller profile than the large standard (number 2) less weight drag and profile but still Quite good.

Put a dab of super glue on them. They won’t fall out anymore.

i keep snapping long points, u reckon i go back to standard
So if you want to change the points from Unicorn Dimitri VDB darts to swiss points. Do you need that weird big system to change the darts?
You can’t really change to Swiss points. It’s Targets own system they manufacture into their darts.
Eagle Talon 50 mm points , by far better than any standard points
I use punkpoint
40 mm swiss DX silver point
Will swiss points go into a normal dart ?
I'm not sure. Technically I guess they can if the hole is the right size but they are not designed for normal darts so we cannot advise this.
