How to Precisely Measure the Waterline Inside your Boat

Since I want to install a bow thruster in my boat, which has quite a shallow hull, I need to know exactly where the waterline is located. In this video I show you how you can find the waterline from inside your boat. This can be useful if you want to install anything that penetrates the hull, like a through-hull fitting or the above mentioned bow thruster.

Thank you very much. I am probably not the first with this idea, but I didn't see it done before. So I genuinely hope it helps people who have the same problem as me, i.e., the flat bow of a fin keeled boat.

Du hast Recht bzüglich des Tons. In den anderen Videos ist Deine Stimme schon kräftiger. Trotzdem ist der Ton in diesem Video nicht schlecht! Mit einem Shotgun Mic wirst Du immer besseren Ton aufnehmen, solange Du dich frontal und relativ nah vor Kamera befindest. Willst Du dich während des Videos frei bewegen, mal nach links, mal nach rechts, mal nach hinten oder vorne laufen, dann ist vielleicht das Ansteckmikrophone die bessere Wahl. Denn da bleibt der Ton einheitlich. Bei dem Richtmikrophone ändert sich der Ton, jenachdem welche Position Du zu dem Mikophone einnimmst.
