I have a novel idea let's switch Christmas with 4th of July I think it would be better time to have fire works on display and a less chance for a fire to get out of hand. Just a little bit of common sense.

Let's not and say we did. New years Eve is already a misery with all the illegal fireworks. The only fireworks that should be allowed are professional shows. They are more fun anyway. Also are done in safe locations with fir department on. The annoying, often misused, and therefore more dangerous street fireworks should be illegal state wide. And not allowed to be sold at all.

I’ve never understood why people want to risk starting a fire 🔥
We live in the country with irrigated pasture to the North and DRY fields to the south and people will be lighting fireworks
    YUGH!!!

When you are young, and can run fast, fireworks are dangerous enough to be exciting, and safe enough to be fun, and when you are young you don't really think about what can go wrong, you think about how you can avoid getting hurt. Some people hold on to being risk takers, bordering on being careless. Some people cross that border. When I was in my twenties, and fist married, my brother in law set off a bottle rocket that landed in a dry field. We ran to the flames and stomped out the fire before it got too big to extinguish. If any of us had hesitated to run to the flames the field would have been an out of control roaring fire in less than 10 seconds, but we were able to put it out completely, even pouring out our water bottles on the ashes to make sure. I think that was the last time any of us played with fireworks.

FYI we just confirmed that this blaze *was* fireworks-related, as per the King County Fire District #2's Ray Desmarais, Assistant Chief/Fire Marshal, who said "There were a number of arborvitaes that fell victim to a 'ground flower' that spun out of control. A utility pole was also damaged in the fire. No injuries or damage to homes was reported."

I have been a subscriber of Michael's youtube since he had less than 1K subscribers. I asked my question because he put a "?" in the title here, yet his twitter posts do not have a similar "?" and declare it IS fireworks.
I was looking for clarification if he actually knows if it was fireworks, or if he intentionally put a clickbait title here or on twitter. That plays to his integrity providing weater inforamtion. , so I was looking for an answer to see if he knows or is guessing.

@@royyeldo5423 I can respect that and although I've probably have not been watching nearly as long as you, from what time that I have been watching, I can say that Michael is very good at what he does while sticking to the facts and even pushing back on political narratives when it comes to things like so-called human induced climate change.
And for that, I agree that he does have great integrity that way, but this does not mean that he does not have biases toward other things like the use of fireworks on the 4th of July. I live down here in California and as you know, our state burns the most every year. Most of which is caused by things like cigarette butts, lawn mowers, trailer hitch chains, weather and homeless campfires. Yes, it is true that some idiots are responsible for these fires due to the use of fireworks both deemed by the state as legal and illegal.
like many other things, namely firearms in both of our states, the use of fireworks during 4th of July celebrations is used as a cudgel towards law abiding responsible citizens in taking away rights.
Too many of our fellow citizens want to punish those who act responsibly and according to the law rather than those who don't because of their feelings toward objects like fireworks or firearms.

Click bait in the title was huge fire. Lol it's never good to have a fire like that but it's shrubs around the fence burning and making alot of smoke. Not actually a huge fire. What it was from who knows yet.
