If i won this id want to/have to give it to my dad whose been doing streaming for about a year and desperately needs an equipment upgrade. I don't think he has ever had a handheld gaming system and I believe this would help him with the agoraphobia he has learning to get better about lately. He needs a new laptop but this entirely new option would open a lot of avenues and help his growth. He got me onto gaming as much as I consider myself a casual player , switch and nintendo are my home ground hence why ive been binging your videos for the past two hours atleast
I’m waiting for the switch 2. I think switch is the best portable device. The steam deck is too bulky to carry around. The detached controllers to function as a mouse is a great idea. How is the battery life?
This is a great machine bought one myself. It does everything i want it to do in a pc. Probably the only thing lenovo needs to work on is the software and driver, but those would be easy tweaks, once those are sorted its going to be a awesome handheld
I think the way that they easily got away with it is by not using a rail system, because surprisingly the actual thing that switch has the patent for is not detachable controllers themselves but the rail system that they developed to make it work.
In all seriousness, though....I really hope they change the UI of the next Nintendo console. We have a good chance that there'll be a different UI considering all of the UI's for each of their consoles and handhelds have been vastly different from one to the next. The Switch has the worst UI I've ever seen... MAYBE it would have been better with actual folders that you could see on the home/main screen...but that's like the bare minimum needed to make it even slightly better, there's so much more they really could have done and should do with the next UI. It's unnecessary though. Steam Deck exists because Valve believes Windows will eventually not allow Steam to download games, while ROG Ally and Legion Go just exist to compete.

I'm currently using my legion go, it's super versatile, i've got it docked at the moment and using a keyboard and mouse on my ultrawide monitor, and if I wanna go out all i have to do is pick up and go, having the detachable controllers means i don't have to sit with my arms closed in all damn day, and use it as a super powerful tablet of sorts. It's a near perfect device for all except software and Battery life. Yet it I can do absolute whatever I want since the software can only get better, and you aren't blocked from playing any game since all drivers are compatible. The Steamdeck has no reason to exist because Steam is never not going to be downloadable unless the company falls under.
I’m usually a bit skeptical of non Nintendo Handheld consoles but this actually looks great! Love and trust your reviews so I’m definitely hoping to try this one out someday 🤩🤩

I think the way that they easily got away with it is by not using a rail system, because surprisingly the actual thing that switch has the patent for is not detachable controllers themselves but the rail system that they developed to make it work.
