My biggest issue with McCarthy is that every Dallas beat reporter that comes on the radio or bears podcast says “he’s fine but” and it’s not exactly a ringing endorsement. It’s such a bears move so I wouldn’t be shocked if they settled for the human embodiment of an over celebrated bloop single.
I also hope you both read the Kalyn Kahler’s article about the agents making a mark out of the bears for decades. Trace Armstrong truly had the organization wrapped around his finger despite showing no results for them to keep hiring his clients. Some of the named quotes are absolutely shocking that fellow agents would reveal their own crappy hiring practices. I want poles gone desperately
Edit: I’m also a little concerned the really staunch Caleb fans are becoming the thing they railed against this past offseason. It’s fine to be critical and have concerns about Caleb’s play. He’s got things to work on and whoo boy I wish they improve because I have zero faith Ryan Poles can hire a good head coach
