Dude, I can't wait to put your axle drop in tips in action! I may do a lot of meditation up on that lip though. I have had a rough couple of days on the inlines and am totally beat up right now.
@@StevesSkateXplosion Yea, that took some getting used to. What's beating me up right now is trying to jump up into a grind, man that is rough on my knees. Jumping in general is tough. I would like to learn to ollie, it hadn't even been invented when I was in my skating prime, so is something I have never really learned how to do and man its hard for me. Did you ollie in your younger skating days and bring that back to skating now?
@@theaverageoldguy yeah I first skated as a 13-14 year old and all we had was Ollie’s and ramps we built. Seemed easier back then. Particularly on joints. Joint issues aren’t even a thing under 20 of course. At this point I wanna ollie just to get into grinds and rail slides eventually.
@@theaverageoldguy how did you feel about those drop ins the other day? It looked like it was very natural for you. Now you just need reps till you’re super comfortable.
I have always had a love/hate relationship with frontsides. Sometimes I like them better than backside and sometimes not. I tore my rotator cuff at that very park about 12 years ago when I blew out on a frontside on one of those 4' quarters and landed on my right arm. I had to get my son to shift gears on the drive home, I couldn't move my arm to shift in my manual car. That was the longest rehab injury I have ever sustained in any sport, took me a full year to get back to 100%.
@@theaverageoldguy yikes, sounds like a rough injury. yeah, with skateboarding, there's more of a chance to land on your shoulder, but at least there's an option to jump off the board if you think something isn't going well. haha
EXCELENTE VIDEO, MUY DIVERTIDO. 😊
OMG 😱 this is amazing! I love drop in videos!

@@theaverageoldguy you gotta be so careful with inlines because I’ve noticed you can’t bail! I would hate that. Always attached to me!

nice. I went blading today, didn't post the video yet, but yeah, I haven't been on the board in a while. Have to do that soon
I never miss an opportunity to dine on concrete, board or blades both put me on the ground more than I would like!
You can do kick turns well in both directions. I can't do frontsides well
