This band has IT. Whatever IT is. It's the thing that motivates people to buy their music, watch their videos, and show up to concerts. In 5 years, they'll be a headliner.

Easily. They have the perfect mix of talent. She has so much starpower it's spilling over. They will be huge (already getting huge). Honestly my favorite band since Slipknot.

I know what IT is. Most bands have instruments stacked onto each other with lyrics to create a song. Spiritbox does this differently, the instruments aren't stacked but intertwined to create one unified symphony and because of that it's so much easier for the emotion to flow through their music

Perrenial, Blessed Be, Trust Fall, The Mara Effect trilogy .... all amazing by Spiritbox.

Thank you for not automatically jumping to Holy Roller. More people should hear Trust Fall.

@DegraTrip I agree ! It is a masterpiece and gets overlooked often. I'm probably going to get a ton of hate for this, but I usually skip Holy Roller ... I like it but it's not too special to me when comparing to other songs that are incredible. In my opinion.

Sew Me Up, Hysteria, Sun Killer, Eternal Blue - those are a handful of my favorites, but pretty much their whole catalog rocks

Rule of nines one take video reaction by Chris Liepe is what got me hooked. Rules of nines became my favorite song of theirs. Having said that I love this song. It’s amazing. Their song writing is so good. Their production, the band kicks ass. All great musicians. They all add something special to their music. Courtney’s voice is so beautiful, elegant and she the way she sings with all the technical stuff is wonderful. Then the contrasting screams is just as great and intense. They have really found the right mix between the two styles. It really hits hard and delivers the message in a emotional way. It doesn’t hurt on top of all that, that she is so beautiful as well. I like seeing her get into it including the dancing and swaying. It just makes you feel like she is really into the song she is singing. Anyways, this band is just getting better. They have a great group of people all working together and delivering every time. The riffs, heaving playing and sound is on point. I can’t wait to hear more.

Spiritbox is an interesting mix, either pre or post eternal blue. All good, but I would personally go for Mara effect at Silverside or the Beauty of Suffering XM Satellite recordings. Both live and both the best of the best.

Spiritbox is known for having catchy songs for a metal band but this is next level. Id suggest songs like Blessed Be, Hurt You, Rotoscope for the sake of them having actual music videos and not being straight brutal heavy songs

This song is from their upcoming mini-album to be released in November.
I really hope Josh gets dialed up in the mix this time, because the bass on the entire "Eternal Blue" album is practically non-existent.
That being said "Eternal Blue" is a masterpiece.

saw these guys at graspop this year. was an absolute blast. they have heavier and sofer stuff. most songs are mixed vocals but theyve got a few full clean and a few full distorted vocals. holy roller is probably their most popular song. circle with me is also amazing. their entire catalogue is full of bangers though to be honest.

Would love to see you react to the band AVATAR and their song Napalm (Live from Ages). They are from Gothenburg, Sweden. They just hit No. 1 on the Billboard Rock Airplay, and got a fossil named after them!

Claims to be a music producer but doesn’t break down the production at all…

When I listen to a good song for the first time, it is extremely unlikely I go “waow, look, that riser sample before the chorus was nice”.
A good production should make you fall in love with the song as you listen to it for the first time, whilst you mostly forget about the mix, arrangement, post prod fx, master, etc…
If something about the production REALLY stands out, I may comment on it, but I don’t feel that was the case here.
