- Just a little tutorial I made on how to play the L4D and L4D2 special infected spawn music on the piano.

boomer theme always gave me goosebumps
for me, it was always the hunter.

When I heard the Spitter one, I had to look up to make sure one wasn't around! That was so good!
Yeah, some of these are a bit off. Try this out:
Hunter: E/F, C/C#, C#/E
Charger: A, G#, A#, A, G#, A
Jockey: G/G# (4), G/G#/A, G/G# (2), G/G#/A
The boomer sounds a tiny bit off, but I didn't puzzle it out. Other than that, thanks for the great video. I couldn't have done it any better by ear I don't expect.

I will have to say, I think the Charger and Jockey one you did scared me the most. Perhaps that may be because they tend to be right around the corner next to the players, grabbing one, and leading them far away from the others. XD

The smoker and jockey were spot on
One time, I was walking on my neighborhood street and on of my neighbors had an old piano in front of his driveway, he was giving it away, I remember smiling and playing the special infected themes on his piano while he was working. After a while, I played the Smoker's theme and somebody across the street yelled "Hey!" I turned around and some man in his 20s said "Is that Left 4 Dead I hear" I chuckled and told him yes, he smiled and yelled "Awesome dude!"
That was a good day.
Does anyone else´s heart start beat faster when you hear these themes?

I have these jingles as ringtones individually. I played the Charger Theme in class when it was silent, and my teacher (who apparently plays L4D2) yelled out Charger as he stood up and looked around the class.
Try Recording a other teacher who "apparently plays l4d2" with the tank :)

Chargers spawn sound gives me the goosebumps, mostly the string version of the spawn sound.

Oh lol. I played the boomer tune when my geog teacher told us not to 'regurgitate everything out in a question'.
At first my teacher had an unamused face then he was like 'Yeah. Boomer. Don't be like it.' the entire class LOLed.
Charger's was just PERFECTO!!!
I actually memorized all of these so when I hear the specific instrument and tune play I know which infected is gonna be nearby

@GDRichard you know how when a hunter pounces a survivor, and when the hunter starts rippen on a survivor music plays right? Well you should try doin a covor of that, I thought that music that was playin, with the hunter in attack mode was cool.

so it was planned but removed...just like the screamer and the Knife! but thats in the german verion of left 4 dead 2

@silent13379 Well, we did have several in-class 'tournaments' just for fun during the hols.....even the girls joined in....and let's say, everyone pretty much got used to the jingles as much as i did.

Hey man, I think that the hunters jingle should be EF, C#D and then D#E, it just sounds more like it. Also play the notes together, it's how I do it :) great job though!
Was never able to pay attention to the jingles. Hard to think about when you get a screeching Hunter or a Charger sounding like a car engine round the corner.

I think the Boomer is actually C D D# F E, but other than that, it sounds good.

The notes are so low, it's hard to tell with any certainty. But if you play the Boomer melody a few octaves higher, B-C-C#-F-E doesn't sound right. C-D-D#-F-E sounds better.
