ALERT: There ARE celery straws! I stand corrected. I totally could not find them but they do exist.
ThreadBanger first to reply to your comment
ThreadBanger Omgoddess?! 😆 Where??
ThreadBanger lolol
😂
yaaay!
Regular straws can be edible if you aren't a coward
@heirloom stars oh my gosh *yes*
heirloom stars wait not every one eats there straws
I have a mild case of pika and have chewed many of straw to death. Don't recommend.
Almost like saying using a cactus as a dild- just kidding 😂
I ain’t Tyler Joseph
We Stan a queen who saves the turtles
Ash Pritch period👏🏻💕🐢
YES YES YEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!
Absolutely! 🐢 ❤
This is so liberal. 99.98% of the plastic in the oceans is plastic straws. And only .04% of the plastic straws in the oceans is because of Americans. Get triggered by my facts. Thank you.
BECKIE JONES bruh im talking about turtles bc straws, along with plastic bags, are the main plastics that kill turtles.
Here after the "I died" video.
The irony in this video is uncanny. This is the last video she uploaded to Threadbanger before Rob's "death."
Corrine is wearing the Pink Floyd t-shirt (the one she said she was wearing in the video the night Rob "died") so creepy. "No pants, tattoos exposed and a Pink Floyd t-shirt."
And the Allergies kicking in!
They actually uploaded a video. I think in between all of this. It was their camping hacks video but it’s gone now. I have no idea why they deleted it.
Barbie4U2 people wear a shirt more than once too,
Miranda L. No, it’s just unlisted. I put it in a playlist and I can still watch it
It’s kind of unsettling, but we can’t really know for sure
Stressed out because almost every time Corinne tilted her cup to drink out of the straw the liquid was literally on the edge of spilling
Zeldagirl yeah i remember
Zeldagirl my anxiety levels were quaking every single time oml
Time Itself same omfg I almost couldn’t watch it
Omg ikr
Yess I was just about to say that, how did she keep filling it up that much lol
Ok so you should do a video where you cook a full course meal and drink without waste!!!!!!!
I've been thinking of trying to go waste free for a week. It's really hard. Of course you'll still produce waste because everyone poops but you know what I mean.
Maybe Rob should try this... no cursing or drinking and no waste😂
Alexandria Warden impossible.
Reusable family cloth! A lot of 0 waste families use it
@@ThreadBanger Compost.
Have Rob make a jolly rancher wrapper bowl so the wrappers at least get used for something.
Nicholas J that sounds like blood for some reason
He will get paper cuts and potentially die from blood loss
That would be super wasteful. They'd need hundreds of wrappers & she only had about 30
Just recycle them........
Love this, I am also the 666th like to have that bless your idea
Hey American friends, walmart has a 4 pack of stainless steel straws (bent and straight long and normal length) that comes with a cleaning tool and 4 silicon tips for like $5. Save the turtles on a budget
Vanessa Jean ok?
Does anyone else remember drinking milk with those cereal straws?
Yes they still available in b&m bargains 😂
haha and vat.19
Just an innocent Pomegranate omg yessss
I saw them the other day and nearly had a heart attack!😂
HELL YEAH
I think corinne or rob should actually try sugar art
Rachel M I agree!!!!! 👏🏽
I want to see rob do sugar art
Corinne vs man vs pin sugarsculpting?
@@zosmavideos4891 yeah!! That would be so good
Not even a Jolly Rancher straw can make Liquid Suntan Lotion flavored La Croix taste good
it tastes like tv static
It tastes like electricity
Tastes like when your leg goes numb
Red 40 is vegan if that’s what you were worried about! It’s Red 4 that’s made from bugs 😊
Personally when i was vegan i didn't eat bugs, i still thought of it as a life not worth ending for my hunger
But now im not vegan and love eating bugs
Red dye 40 causes health problems and does not mix well with people who have adhd
Look it up!! it's a bit interesting
It’s a bug
Plastic straws make up less than 1% of the oceans plastic. However, fishing nets alone make up 46% of the oceans plastic. That doesn't even include other fishing supplies like traps, ropes, baskets, crates etc.
Edit: The percentage of straws might be wrong because I don’t 100% remember the percentage but I know that it was very low, especially compared to fishing nets and supplies
I mean if we get rid of the consumer waste the corps can't pretend they're not the issue
Koi Ann Cote That’s true but we can’t get rid of things like plastic straws completely because many people depend on them and are unable to use any reusable alternatives for health or financial reasons. Although I do agree that if you’re able to use an alternative, you should. It definitely wouldn’t hurt
@@alhall6162 petition to force medical aid to provide free reusable straws for those who need them (in a material they are allowed to use ofcourse)
@@alhall6162 there are other straws than plastic. Like paperstraws that's been around for years! Theres not only just straws that's the issue, anything that's plastic and one time use is the issue.
Should see what diapers do.... 500 years to decompose, and leak into ground water as well as can leak viruses into local drinking water...

Shhhhhh demonetization doesn’t need to know that...

My favorite bar uses noodles as straws for cocktails and I love it 🥰
"Unfortunately, they're not hollow."
But are they H💿L💿??
Oh my fellow Holosexual.
the amount you fill up your cups gives me insane anxiety ur gonna spill it corinne stop pleaseskskjsjs
The real problem is all the frickin plastic bags and packaging certain companies use
All single use plastics are the problem.
@@Meanbomb
Exactly
Should see what diapers do.... 500 years to decompose, and leak into ground water as well as can leak viruses into local drinking water...
Rachel Yeah, it’s the same with a lot of sanitary products (nappies, tampons etc) but we can’t find a suitable alternative that suits everyone so the main priority is other single use plastics at the moment
Whilst reusable straws are no bad thing, I suggest people watch Jessica Kellgren-Fozard's video on why getting rid of plastic straws is a bad thing for people with certain disabilities.
I've seen that, but there's many comments disproving that
My sister is disabled, and she needs to use a straw when she drinks. But we just bring a reusable straw wherever we go.
Why can't they just use reusable straws.....?
@@mashedpotatoes5894 I already made a comment about it, but reusable straws, especially hard metal ones, can be dangerous. If I have a spasm, pass out, or a have seizure while drinking from a hard straw, a lot could go wrong. Bendy straws can be easily removed from the mouth in the case of an emergency. I cannot hold the cup up well enough to drink from the side of it, I can drop it. Plus, depending on the size of the glass, the bend could be more needed to be posed as I am a tiny person.
Reusable straws are also difficult to sanitize, and for us, that can be life threatening. Immunocompromization can be insanely difficult to manage, and comes with a whole set of challenges that involve having everything around you remain as sterile as possible. This is also why herd immunity is important, for those who are immunocompromised, even the doses in the vaccine contain enough of the virus to cause major side effects.
To disabled people, straws are a necessary tool to give us the ability to enjoy something like abled people would.
And on a personal note, the straw thing frustrates me. 100 companies are responsible for 90% of the the pollution output by the United States. Why are we more worried about straws than the systematic destruction of the planet by a few entities?
@@rinniegan silicone straws paper straws...
Take a shot every time Corinne says something dirty 😂
The real og ppl remember those froot loop straws. That stuff is where it’s at!!
Those were 👌🏻👌🏻
Remember that we can always encourage re-usable straws without banning normal ones! They're sometimes the only ones people with motor disabilities can use, since hard ones can damage the teeth or mouth if they spasm.
thank you! most people forget those with disabilities
There are different types of reusable straws.
Before someone says "BUT THEY CAN USE REUSABLE STRAWS" Search up "banning straws hurts people" by Jessica kellgren.

Yeah people gotta bring this up. And I've seen people shame others for using straws while holding something with saran wrap or a plastic bottle and I'm just like "bruh."
Straws only makes a small fraction of plastic pollution (granted it shouldn't make any fraction) but I kinda feel like the straw thing is just a new way for people to be "woke" without actually doing anything :/.
Yes I so agree plastic straws aren't really the issue when it comes to plastic and some people actually need them
@@annabel5332 Yes but a lot of times it can either be made out of something that the person can be alergic to, can be a choking hazard if part of it breaks off easily, can't be cleaned easily, can't be used with a hot liquid, or can't be put in a glass of water for too long. Sometimes people have to use plastic straws.
*Or why can't you just drink from the cup?*
This was meant for a joke. Please no hate
@@olibarahosasa1137 Huh?
sun flower weakling
sun flower that makes perfect sense. Actually, unless the drink really needs it, I drink straight from the cup.
I remember going to an Italian restaurant when I was like 8 and the straws were RAW NOODLES. Straight up large Bucatini. They actually sell regular raw pasta straws now. 😂
I just don't use straws.. problem solved.
Michael Weiss straws can actually be really helpful in making sure you don’t break down the enamel of your front teeth when drinking acidic drinks! That’s why I use them anyway
@@genevieve5869 Good point! I actually use a remineralizing toothpaste. But I could understand that for people who don't.
Same tho
@@genevieve5869 I've heard that drinking from straws doesn't really help with that because it's going to touch your teeth either way. Either from the back or the front unless you want to put the straw up your throat so it doesn't touch your tongue or your teeth but that's not quite enjoyable is it. The best thing to do is probably rinse your mouth with water or brush your teeth after (wait at least 30 minutes after you drank). Btw I got this all from an article. I don't just randomly know this. I, myself don't drink very much acidic drinks besides milk I guess which has low acidity but I only drink milk and water most of the time or maybe all of the time and when I drink milk I usually drink water after anyways because I need to drink water to clean my teeth so I can put my invisilign back in.
Despicable Penguin uh thanks I guess, that was a lot of unnecessary detail, and um my dentist said it’s at least preferable to use the straw rather than just splash the drink right on your teeth so I’m still gonna do that but I’ll take the other suggestion into consideration!
4:58 ....I am dying.
CORINNE: "I'm usually pretty good at rolling sh**..."
Giiirrrlll... 😏 I hear yooooou...
I was gonna say that hahah
At my work we use Hay! Straws and they're my new favorite thing. They don't disintegrate like paper straws and they're a renewable source. I'm obsessed with them.
Kenna Brienn Literal straw? I wondered if this would ever be a thing. Perhaps not so good for people with coeliacs? Maybe?Who knows?
With the cookie straw, there are certain companies that make them hollow. I love the brand you used but they don’t work as well at other kinds.
IJustChangedMyNameSoPeopleCouldFindIt it seems like they would just disintegrate
If anyone is like me and doesn't like the metal clanking against your teeth while using a metal straw, they also sell silicone ones and they're great. ❤
They sell silicone straws
Also the clear reusable plastic ones
Poke a hole long ways on the thick part of the celery stick and you got a straw
My issue is,,, im disabled so i lowkey need bendy straws because im short and cant hold things steady
They totally have plastic, posable, reusable straws!
I support your needs! Those who can, should, but no shame on your quality of life 😘
@@noonespecial9233 the problem w those tends to come with if they're able to be thoroughly cleaned as they very easily harbour bacteria in the bend!
@@noonespecial9233 There is a disabled UA-camr called Jessica Kellgren-Fozard who made a video about how disposable straws are vital for disabled people. However I do agree that reusable is better for people who can use them :) (I mean, I never use straws anyway but if some able people want to they can always use reusable ones)
They make metal bendy straws on Amazon. It’s not flexible but it’s angled like a regular bendy straw. Not sure how important flexibility is in terms of your specific needs but I can personally vouch for them
Just get a twizzler and bite the ends off. Tada! Edible straw with little effort c:
She did.. .
Lol someone didn't watch the video.
Didn't watch the video didn't ya
1. She did that
2. You use Red Vines not Twizzlers. Twizzlers don’t have a hole in the middle
I think that more UA-camrs should promote a eco-friendly lifestyle like Corinne does🌱🌍
I’m not the pinnacle of eco friendliness but I try. If we all tried a little harder we’d be doing a lot better.
This whole video is literally a “that what she/he said” joke 🤣😂
I was gonna comment the same thing!
Starbucks used to have a "frappucino straw" you could buy which were basically those rolled wafer cookies but just lined with a thin layer of chocolate so they still were hollow in the middle... those things were awesome, I don't drink frappucinos but we used to get them as a snack... I wouldn't mind if all straws were those straws hahahah
my favourite bar's been using pasta as straws for years now, real simple but genius

Stainless steel straws are my favorite, too. Inexpensive. Easily sanitized.
They also get stuck in Turtles noses
Got my reusable straws from Amazon. They're even multi-chrome ones.
Call me out when they have holographic glitter on them
Same to the Holo comment! And i got my straws from Jeffree Star Cosmetics website.. $20 but totally worth it lmaooo they're amazing straws 🥰
R u sure u googled it? When I google it, it says "celery straws are celery specifical grown to have a hollow tube in the center"

Is it just me or does Corinne look really pretty in this video😭
the fact that plastics are hurting the turtles really was the final STRAW HUH
HUH?
XD
Henlo, welcome to comments, you just saved this turtle 🐢
Good job!
My parents and my brother used to make me celery straws when i was younger. You basically have to remove the filaments inside the stalk WHILE removing the bottom part.
My soon to be sister in law got me a reusable silicone straw from the store when she went grocery shopping, I love it! It came in a little tin similar to a mint tin, and the waste plastic was fully recyclable. And when your done with your straw the company will properly recycle it, same with the tin!
PSA: I care so much about saving wildlife and I agree that plastic staws and other single-use plastics should be cut down on as much as possible... but they should NOT be banned. People in the disabled community need these straws to be able to drink independently. Completely banning these straws means that people who need them will often not be able to go into public spaces without being accompanied by someone, and as a person with a disability, I can not stress enough just how important our independence is to us. If you want to know more about this, a lovely disabled youtube named Jessica Kellgren-Fozard has a video on her channel about it. I'm not saying straws shouldn't be cut down on, I personally use reusable straws all the time, but please don't support banning them as this could hurt so many people. Thanks for coming to my ted talk
Katherine Petersen but paper straws though?
Sounds like something that could be prescribed to those that need them and still banned for those that don't
@@yviscariello5755 paper straws start dissolving when exposed to moisture for long - there's a great video about different kinds of straws and their pros and cons (why banning plastic straws hurts disabled people - not 100% on the title but you'll find it!)
M Townsend I think this would be a really great solution but unfortunately I don’t really believe medical companies would do it. From my experiences, insurance companies are a pain and they often don’t even comply to giving you basic things you need to survive so I don’t really see them seeing straws as a medical necessity. It would be a great solution if we could make sure they complied and there were no extra fees!
Paper straws can be bitten through if someone has a spasm while trying to drink. Plastic, notsomuch. As far as I know, the world has yet to come up with a reusable straw that is suitable for all situations.
I found celery straws 😶😂
Whaaaa?! I am shooketh
ThreadBanger they’re from a plant called lovage.
On the topic of Red Vines, you'll be happy to hear that Red 40 is actually not made of bugs (if that was your concern)!! The only bug ones are Carmine, Crimson Lake, Cochineal, Carminic Acid, and Natural Red #4.
I love you, thank you for bringing up the single-use waste issue!!!
I love the new room you worked so hard on it Corrine
"I'm pretty good at rolling things!"

I love that in the Halloween pinsplosion she judged Rob for drinking la croix but she drinks it in this video
You can buy jolly ranchers that are not individually wrapped but there are some plastic but less.
5:22 WOW Corinne two in one video, thanks for showing us how to make the Jolly Rancher Shank from Orange Is The New Black!
At 7:56 there is another orange is the new black reference 😂
"Barely getting anything!" Well, it IS a La Croix...

Just got some stainless steel straws a couple days ago and already love them! ❤️ also love this video ❤️
SAVE THE TURTLES! Love you Corinne!.
Sadly I’m team Twizzlers, but, the good news is they’re environmentally friendly 💖
Same bro
I thought twizzlers used palm oil which in turn endangers orangutans?
I like red vines
@@adribautista3593 I think they use responsibly sourced palm oil. Not all palm oil comes from that region.
I'm Australian, and here the anti-plastic straw movement is virtually unheard of. Nobody here I've mentioned it to has ever heard of it either - All fast food outlets still serve their drinks with plastic straws and they're abundant in large packs in our supermarkets - Apart from very specific instances there are few alternatives offered in regard to non-disposable or metal straws. I hope we adopt a similar approach to the US soon
hmm, for a bloody mart, maybe a green onions straw would work.
My city actually banned plastic straws! They're completely illegal in restaurants and coffee shops. I'm so proud of us😂
I'm proud of you too!! Someone voted for the right people!
Twenty Paphonies that’s harmful to disabled people that need plastic straws

I bought candy cane straws at a store before, it's essentially the jolly ranchers straw and I recall that it worked quite well
When i was younger i used Red Vines as a straw for my Sprite. I loved it!
I have some long ziti that would be strawable.
I also have glass straws.
Now glass straws is something I can get behind. I *LOVE* glass. But... Cleaning them.. I don't want something I can't clean.
Cuz, you know, stuff can get stuck in the hole part. I'm really particular about the cleanliness of things I have to put in my mouth. I could get into why, but then this would become super long and ramble-y.
