- Polaris Sportsman must haves both factory and aftermarket options that you really want. Power steering, winch, electronic braking, passenger seat and storage box, passenger foot rest, front rack, aluminum wheels, hand guards, cell phone holder, mirrors, battery tender wiring.
The engine braking is not electronic. It works through the helix in the secondary clutch and assisted from the one way bearing in the primary clutch when the sheaves disengage. That switch on the handle bars is active descent control when all the way to the left. It turns on engine braking in the front differential so the rear wheels don't lock up.
Power steering kit is around 6-700.00 and costs around 3-400.00 labor for installing.
Thank You Sir
In Idaho we have over 10,000 miles of trails for ATV's.....
mirror is the best thing to have to see if you took the right trail and can see lights without looking back over and over or even going fast
This battery thing I've never understood 😮....first machine was a 17 450 h.o. sat in unheated garage 5 months every winter no tender...came out and started it once a week let it run for 10 minutes and never a battery issue...current machine is a 2020 570 touring premium same treatment and never on a tender always maintains 14.4 to 14.6 no issues..am I just lucky ?!!!!
Glad to hear it hasn’t been an issue for you. Honestly the tender probably won’t make much of a difference if your starting once a week. Some people will go six months and that’s definitely when a tender helps. Thanks for your question
Hey Darren, what year is your 2-up? There seems to be issues fitting that rack extender on the 2022s and later. Even though the Polaris website says it should work...
Hi thanks for reaching out. It’s a 2019 and this is the box that we went with. Hope this helps. Black Boar (66010) ATV Rear... www.amazon.com/dp/B01HCMKVXE?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
One of the top 10 things a UA-camr needs: microphone! Very informative video but I couldn't hear you very well even with volume all the way up.
Thanks for your feedback. I'll look into getting a mic.
