There are not too much Oscar related videos on YT. Keep making them.
Just please turn the music volume down, it's distracting.

After your videos, I changed my mind about the e-commerce market project, continue Bro Part 3

I really enjoy making videos, but it’s hard to find time for UA-cam content when I have a day job. However, seeing my subscriptions grow and reading your encouraging comments motivates me to create more content.

I have tried oscar for building an ecommerce but It was toooo slow for production.. it seems quite outdated to be used in 2024.. sorry for oscar.. it is slow and heavy..

Sorry to hear about your experience. Django Oscar can be optimized for better performance. Its modular design and extensive features still make it a viable choice for scalable e-commerce projects with proper tuning and caching strategies

@@eliecode oh its ok not your fault yeah I totally agree that oscar provides a lot of features out of the box.. However, get request seems ok but it is weird that post request is extremely slow like add to cart, creating an order, it takes around 2s~3s I made my own cart, order api using django+DRF, it takes 150ms~200ms. 2s~3s for adding to cart, customers are going to feel it is really really slow.. if I add more features like storing logs, ad logs or ad api will make it even slower.. I can do it with celery but too complicated.. UX directly affects to sales.. so I ended up using it..
