While I do love this game, that is one major issue I had with it. A lot of the good guys just act so out of character in the intro dialogues, almost bordering the line of an anti-hero or straight up villain. There's a ton of examples!

@@metalguy1016 It's the atmosphere of the game. The revenant fighters are bitter over their fate, the Kombat kids are bratty, Raiden is turning into dark Raiden etc

@@dopefury That actually does make sense. Now that I think about it, the only heroes that DON'T act out of character aside from the Kombat Kids are Johnny Cage, Sonya, and Kenshi, the heroes that DIDN'T get turned into revenants.
