  • Today I decluttered my jewelry for the second time! I am so excited to see how far I’ve come in my decluttering journey. I’ve really been able to reduce the jewelry I own to the items I love! Minimalism goals, right? 😉 It makes the items I’ve chosen to keep feel so much more meaningful! Are there any areas that you’ve decluttered recently? Let me know!

Are there any areas that you’ve decluttered recently? Or do you have any jewelry decluttering tips to share? Let me know!

Ashlynne Eaton I'm currently in the process of decluttering my attic...I have found some ridiculous things I have held onto for the past few decades...but some gems too!

Hi, i've decluttered my jewelry yesterday. For me it's very hard because i work in a jewelry shop, and i've worked in multiple ones.
I really like your channel, you are sweet. Love from italy :)

I am more trying to use certain things and I am using up most of the gift bags I had sort of stockpiled, which is nice. Also have used up a lot of bath & body stuff. I am forcing myself to use the stuff I didn't like but had kept around since I can't return it (I had let too much time pass). I used up a face lotion this morning.

CLOTHES. I took everything out of my closet and drawers and tried it on. If I didn’t feel awesome in it, I got rid of it. I bought a few new “utility pieces” to round out my wardrobe, but I ended up with about half the amount of clothes. Getting dressed is so much easier now.

+npigwnl that’s so cool! It’s so funny some of the things that we hold onto sometimes! They hide those gems that we would actually want to keep

I just sat, grab my jewlery boxes and decluttered along! Amazing! My "get rid of" pile is so big! I'm so proud of myself, thank you Ashlynne

+Jane Rizzoli you cool! It’s always so exciting to see just how much we are able to get rid of! Congratulations and keep it up ♥️

I like how you did this very naturally with some sway on the beautiful rock necklace you made. It is important for all of us to understand that when it comes to decluttering, it is not a simple black and white process. There are no rules, but it is important to look at the balance of sentimentality, logic, and personal symbolism. You showed us your process in a way that we can all relate to when we also declutter jewellery. Thank you for this Ashlynne.

+Wendy Wilker-Blakley so glad this was helpful! I completely agree that decluttering isn’t black and white and that sometimes it involves hard decisions. It’s so worth it though!

I halved my jewelry last Winter...no regrets. I don't miss any of it. You could turn the rock necklace into a Christmas Ornament for your tree! I love your snitch necklace. It's really cute.

+faeriesmak oh! I like that idea about turning it into an ornament. That might have to be something I️ actually do. Thanks for the suggestion! If you really like the snitch necklace and it’s something you’d wear, I’d be happy to send it to you! Let me know :) Only if you would love and use it of course though!

    Good job!
I loved hearing the wind in the trees!
We are preparing to move on Nov30 and I am decluttering again this weekend. My new job I wear scrubs so I really want to get rid of a few more clothes that I just don’t get around to wearing and other random stuff. I cut my books again by half a few months ago but maybe I can let a couple more go. Looking forward to decluttering and packing as I always let go of more items while packing.

+ForgiveAndLove09 love this! I’m moving on the 18th as well and although I’ll probably declutter more on the other side, I’m looking forward to the process as well! Let me know how the decluttering goes! And good luck with your move :)

Just get her address and mail it. I know you'll pay for postage but it'd be easier than hunting her down. Sometimes postage is worth it. Call it minimalism for your life.

If jewelry has sentimental value- you could add it to a keychain or zipper pull for makeup bags...

I know this is pretty old now, but what happened to the piece from your grandparents that you had on your silver necklace last time? I noticed you only had the pendant from your aunt, and the lovely tree piece on the chain. (Which looks gorgeous!)

How do get rid of your jewelry if you don't gift it? Do you donate or throw it in the trash? I am trying to figure out what to do with my decluttered jewelry.:)

I usually sterilize it and then donate it! Salvation Army and Goodwill both accept jewelry donations!

It looked like the purple necklace would have gone over your head and the clasp seemed to be put lol
