Honestly this song was an absolute banger, definitely one of my favourites so far. I loved the guitar strumming when Carmelo chimes in and the hip hop beat representing the juxtaposition between both perspectives. Velvette is clearly overconfident and has a youthful hotheaded energy that thinks they can fight back against the Angels which I understand is now a likelihood but Zestial and Carmelo are right that they cant jump into war too soon and risk long term damnation, especially when Carmelo was responsible for the beheaded Angel.
I agree with you 100% because this song was amazing, props to the voice actors ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ and the singing is just amazing ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Velvette is my new favorite character in the show ❤❤❤❤❤❤, and please correct me on the spelling of her name if I got it wrong ❤❤
100% here. The Vees got some “new money” energy. They think they are hot stuff do to a quick climb up the power ladder. But it’s clear this is the first time an angel died in forever. So going right to war when only 1 person can kill them is a very bad idea.
Only issue with it is it has no lead in audio so it comes out of no where, a little lead in audio as the tension in the room was rising would help for the songs to flow more naturally.
@@forestnapier7335 It's not that only 1 person can kill them, it's that they can be killed period. Fighting back is preferable to letting yourself be killed, and Velvette didn't vote to attack heaven immediately, only to prepare for a battle (Which is the correct choice). She was going to share the Vee's battle plan for the situation till Zestial shot down the idea.
Not exactly, simply because Vox and Val control the television, while Velvette has the control of social media, which are more used than TV or radio for information. A couple things, first off, Velvette’s voice wasn’t quite what I expected, but I definitely think it fits perfectly. Honestly it reminds me a bit of Anne Boleyn from Six. This next part could contain spoilers if you haven’t seen the episodes yet. Secondly, I feel like Velvette and Carmelo definitely have a deeper history than just this outward rivalry. The way that Carmelo reacts is more like a chastising parent than what I would expect from such a powerful overlord. I think she showed a lot of restraint in how she reacted to Velvette’s brazen attitude. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s revealed that Carmelo was a mentor or even mother figure for Velvette. Especially when you consider that Velvette has the same distinct red sclera and white iris that Carmelo shares with her daughters. Or maybe I’m completely off, who knows…
The ''i'm the backbone of the vee's" + the "my babydoll xx" in the animation made me realise how united and powerful, smart all the vee's are. it's incredible, the character are made so well! 💕

Well its definitely true when talking about charlie (for now), sir pentious, and vaggie, but going off of all that has come out so far, the rest of the main cast has some of the main highlights going on
