Thank you woman for your homely and honest chats. I love it. I am British born Jamaican parentage with nigerian/cameroon/bantu roots (will soon acquire through African ancestry my actual people from West Africa ) however married to a Nigerian man. Nigeria and Jamaica are often seen as loud however I see it as expressive and a confidence in themselves, they are proud of their roots, language and heritage. I love my husband and his culture, learning everyday, BTW I identify as Igbo because i watch so many Nigerian Igbo movies . What i have noticed watching your videos is that you have a lot in common across cultures and tradition ie the bride price. This is not part of British culture, the traditional marriage. Also another is the traditional Wear you you all share, the fabric may be different but each region has its own traditional cloth ie Ankara or kente and i know sth Africa has the same. But please forgive not sure of the name. However i love it. We in Jamaica are proud of our Albukulan heritage and have tried to hold onto its tradition. We still eat the same foods and wear the head wraps. Anyway women of Albukelan, keep up the chat and discussions, so we can learn about each other and nite as one. I am proud and love our African ways, we are the original and have contributed greatly to the world. Keep up the chats between the regions of albukelan it is very educative. I was born and raised in the UK, there is no tradition wear for the English although the Scottish are known for their cloth, Burberry and I believe the Irish and w we lshn as well but England is not know for any traditional wear. So identity more with Jamaica but am proud to be African
I am touched by you Serame when you say we must love each other but it will take a lot for our people to reach that level of loving black africans but i must say not all of us have that hate or anger we embrace them
I watched this video with my husband and we smiled all through. You and Outreach did justice to this video. I understand your family concerns about you getting married to a Nigerian, I mean someone outside your nationality. My Father was also concerned when I told him I was getting married to my husband who is not from the same village as mine. In our own case, we are even both Nigerians but different tribes😃But when God leads you, He backs you up.
Good conversation!!! This is a true marriage that has nothing to do with country, culture and tribe. It's really amazing how Man and Woman come together and become one according to the scripture, and the blessing is that you are fulfilling God's purpose in your lives and dominating the Earth with the work of your hands according to the will of God.
Those in South Africa are 60% crooks. Go to Sunnyside in Pretoria; go to most their churches; why would someone leave their country of nearly 200 million to come and open a church in a community of just over 60 million. Is it because they feel sorry; want to spread the gospel or otherwise; obviously they know majority of of SANS are gullible hence they gravitate to these stupid Nigerian churches.
