Perfect timing! My wife and I are coming to Crewe and Tarporley in early October. Very excited to explore and see where my ancestors were before they came to America!
Thank you I was born in Crewe emigrated with mum dad and two brothers to Australia when I was 12 now 65 it was nice to see some places I recognise would of loved to see more thanks again Paul T
Great Video, spent my whole working life in Crewe town center! 🙂Another good run (well walk for me) is turn left at the Georges down the Valley Brook to The Rising Sun Pub (Middlewich Rd) pick up the Kings Shilling way to Nantwich calling at Alvaston Hall golf course its nice round there and as its no longer used as a golf course theres no fear of being hit by a golf ball! Lol! We usually go as far as Sainsburys cafe from there then return but for a longer run carry on into Nantwich along the river and round the lake back via Crewe Rd and Joey The Swan along Wistaston Brook, then head back to the park along the Valley Brook! Lots of history to talk about in Nantwich!
Excellent video, potted history was a lovely reminder of the industry that made Crewe. Thankyou for your video of my place of birth in 1948. Yes 12000miles away now...but aye you can take the lad out of Crewe etc Ngā mihi Paul
Just watched this again and enjoyed it again. Another one would be a linier for the small car park on Wistaston Green Road through to Joey The Swan then following the brook to Wistaston Manor continuing along Crewe Greenway to the Raven and beyond to the units by the Station Pilot. Following the public footpath past the new units eventually crossing the A500 and coming to a close at either Weston or Hough.
How fitting that as a resident of Crewe this should air on my birthday.
Happy birthday 🥳 for Friday, may your day be filled with Mountain View’s and a cheeky Wetherspoons

I’ve filmed in tarporley too, it’s beautiful around there, make sure you visit Beeston Castle
Wow! Thanks for that, I haven't seen the place since 1986, talk about being a stranger in your own town.👍
Omg, I just love how you shot and edited this video with the sped up areas. Cheers from WPB Florida. Love picturesque UK.
